On 4 Sep 06 a fourteen year old Marietta resident reported being grabbed in the arm by Marcia Roach, age 46, 121 Clark Street, Marietta, with such force he was scratched and nearly lifted off the ground. Confronting the juvenile for allegedly breaking her car window, Ms. Roach admitted manhandling and scolding the teenager but denied causing any injury. As a result of Ms. Roach’s actions, Deputy Sheriff Evans requested a summons for her for disorderly conduct.

On 4 Sep 06 Valerie Campbell, age 35, 270 Hendricks Street, Newport, reported she believes $250 was stolen from her purse by one of four individuals who visited her daughter during the evening. This case remains under investigation (1097).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Makaya Raylene Sherrell, age 20, 411 Franklin Street Apt. B, Marietta, for complicity in breaking and entering, a felony. Sherrell was arrested on Fort Harmar Drive in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Sep 06 at 5:55 am.

William Maverick Scott, age 20, 411 Franklin Street Apt. B, Marietta, for complicity in breaking and entering, a felony. Scott was arrested on Fort Harmar Drive in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Sep 06 at 6:35 am.

Lisa Marie Gretsinger, age 18, 16709 Lindsey Street, Detroit, MI, for operating with an expired license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Gretsinger was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Sep 06 at 8:30 pm.
