On 2 Sep 06 a thirty-two year old resident
of Lowell reported receiving harassing phone calls on her cellular
phone and at her place of employment since 26 Aug 06. This
case remains under investigation (501).
On 2 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to Todd A. Morris, age 35, 1007 Terrace Avenue,
Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy
Stackpole stopped Mr. Morris on US 50 near State Route 555
in Belpre Township.
On 2 Sep 06 Tim Childress, age 40, 32213 Hartshorn
Ridge, Lewisville, OH, reported while his camper was stored
at Marietta RV, 98 Starlite Drive, Marietta, for the winter
a television, a DVD player, a VCR and a surround sound system
were stolen from inside. This case remains under investigation
(953).
On 2 Sep 06 Sarah A. Casto, age 29, 7355 Veto
Road, Belpre, reported, in violation of a protection order,
Robert L. Perdue, age 63, 1202 Hocking Road, Belpre, has been
harassing her via the telephone and also by frequently driving
by her home for the past three days. While taking the report,
Deputy Sheriff Malone observed Ms. Casto answer the phone and
speak to Mr. Perdue. As a result, Deputy Malone arrested Mr.
Perdue for violating the terms of the protection and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Sep 06 Doris R. Reynolds, age 69, 1200
Dana’s Run Road, Newport, reported a red utility trailer
was stolen from beside her garage between 4 pm on 30 Aug 06
and noon that day. This case remains under investigation (501).
On 2 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans arrested
Tonya D. Tidd, age 39, 8000 State Route 821, Whipple, for OVI.
Deputy Evans observed Ms. Tidd’s vehicle weaving in her
lane as she traveled northbound on State Route 821. Ms. Tidd
admitted consuming eight beers that evening and failed to complete
sobriety tests due to her intoxication. At the Washington County
Jail Ms. Tidd tested .239% BAC.
On 2 Sep 06 a fourteen year old Marietta reported
being harassed and struck in the chin by another female at
the Washington County Fair because she allegedly lodged a criminal
complaint against her assailant’s father in Noble County.
This case remains under investigation (1001).
On 2 Sep 06 Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff
Malone responded to a disturbance at 38 Suzanne Street, Little
Hocking. Recalcitrant and intoxicated, Kelly J. Bollinger,
age 40, imbibed a large amount of alcohol over the past nine
hours. Due to his argumentative state and degree of impairment
Mr. Bollinger was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication
and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Sep 06 a sixteen year old Waterford resident
reported being slapped by as neighbor during a disagreement
over feeding another neighbor’s cats. Deputy Sheriff
Morris was unable to corroborate the victim’s claim due
to conflicting statements made by other witnesses. Therefore
Deputy Morris closed this case as unfounded.

Mark Anthony King, age 45, 506 McDonald Road, Waterford, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. King was arrested at his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 1:35 am.
Tonya Dawn Tidd, age 39, 8000 State Route 821, Whipple, for
OVI, a misdemeanor. Tidd was arrested on State Route 821 by
Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 3:05 am.
Donald Lee Givens Jr., age 49, 100 Linwood Avenue Lot B, Marietta,
for a felony charge of OVI and for a misdemeanor charge of
driving left of center. Givens was arrested on State Route
550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 3:30 am.
Steven Wayne Rush, age 19, 1770 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Rush was arrested on
Greene Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at
3:34 am.
Christopher Adam Blosser, age 20, 1145 Remely Road, Cutler,
for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Blosser was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 4:40 am.
Chad Sterling Spencer, age 27, 575 Trott Circle, Martinsville,
VA, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, all misdemeanors.
Spencer was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep
06 at 5:19 pm.
Tara Michelle Rose, age 19, 109 Sylvan Way, Marietta, for
violating the terms of her probation and for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors.
Rose was arrested at an apartment on Channel Lane in Marietta
by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep
06 at 5:37 pm.
Robert Corey Wanzo, age 19, 115 Barber Street, Marietta, for
complicity in tampering with evidence, a felony. Wanzo was
arrested on Channel Lane in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 7:56 pm.
David Leonard Carr, age 20, 109 Sylvan Way, Marietta, for
theft and tampering with evidence, both felonies. Carr was
arrested on Channel Lane in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 8:18 pm.
Brian Michael Taylor, age 18, 102 Flintwood Drive, Marietta,
for complicity in tampering with evidence, a felony. Taylor
was arrested on Channel Lane in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 8:48 pm.
Kelly Joe Bollinger, age 40, 38 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Bollinger
was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 9:28 pm.
Robert Lee Perdue, age 63, 1202 Hocking Road, Belpre, for
violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Perdue
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Malone and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 06 at 11:56
pm.
