On 1 Sep 06 Lt. Seevers was dispatched to
the scene of death of an eighty-four year old Devola resident.
The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
On 1 Sep 06 Gayle King, age 43, 506 McDonald
Road, Waterford, reported her husband Mark, age 45, kicked
her in the stomach. Arriving home after a football game, Mrs.
King was angered to see her husband was intoxicated again and
had smoked in the house. As Mr. King slept on their bed Mrs.
King threw a pile of clothes on her husband and ordered him
out of the house. Mr. King awoke during his wife’s tirade
and kicked her when she approached, causing her to lose her
breath. As a result of Mr. King’s actions, he was arrested
for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County
Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Michael Davis, age 22, 711 Franklin
Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Davis
was arrested on Clement Avenue in Belpre by Patrolman Williams
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 06 at 1:09 am.
Bonnie Lee Cole, age 51, 2371 Highway 196
West, Hinesville, GA, for violating the terms of her probation,
a felony. Cole was arrested at the Social Security Office by
Corrections Officer Reeder and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 1 Sep 06 at 11:17 am.
Jason Lee Bartimus, age 30, 26 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for driving under a suspended license and for failing to obey
the right of way, both misdemeanors. Bartimus was picked up
in Doddridge County, WV by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 06 at 11:50
am.
Robert Lucky Patterson, age 23, 424 Third Street Apt. 2, Marietta,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Patterson was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
1 Sep 06 at 6:30 pm.
James Edwin Hall, age 61, 71 Hall Road, Vincent, for operating
with an expired license, a misdemeanor. Hall was arrested on
State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep 06 at 8:00 pm.
Craig Steven Sims, age 28, 162 Gluck Street, Youngstown, for
driving under an FRA suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors.
Sims was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Sep
06 at 10:15 pm.
