On 26 Aug 06 Christine G. Baker, age 25, 280 Indian Run Road, Marietta, reported being punched in the face a number of times by a male subject while visiting friends at Sierra Apartments. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 26 Aug 06 the caretaker of a building owned by the Muskingum Township Trustees at 535 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect(s) threw a projectile threw a rear window of the building. This case remains under investigation (1001).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Rickey Elden Anderson, age 49, 290 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 06 at 12:20 am.

Homer Hendrix III, age 33, 304 Colegate Drive, Marietta, for felonious assault. Hendrix was arrested in the jail parking lot by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 06 at 12:50 am.

Jeremy David Wright, age 24, 312 Spring Street, Marietta, for misdemeanor charges of driving under an FRA suspended license and operating an unsafe vehicle and a felony charge of receiving stolen property. Wright was arrested on State Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 06 at 7:26 pm.

Melissa Dawn Warrener, age 26, 200 Brittigan Circle, Marietta, for being a repeat traffic offender, for not wearing a seat belt and for not having license plates, all misdemeanors. Warrener was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Aug 06 at 8:01 pm.
