On 23 Aug 06 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued
a citation to Jeremy A. Haynes, age 23, 27233 Huckleberry Road,
Coolville, for traveling 73 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Rhodes
stopped Mr. Haynes on US 50 at State Route 124 in Belpre Township.
On 23 Aug 06 Lt. Huffer issued a citation
to Elizabeth A. Niceswanger, age 19, 331 Muskingum Drive Apt.
1, Marietta, for traveling 45 mph in a 20 mph zone. Lt. Huffer
stopped Ms. Niceswanger on State Route 550 near Warren Elementary
School in Warren Township.
On 23 Aug 06 Maxine Rauch, age 74, 230 Sheldon
Avenue, Marietta, reported the Cingular cellular phone she
left in her vehicle while visiting 817 Masonic Park Road, Marietta
was stolen between 6:00 and 6:30 am. This case remains under
investigation (945).

David J. Adams, age 32, DAV Road, Marietta,
for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on
17 Aug 06.
Kurt M. Lauer, age 46, 42685 Ashton Hill Road, Dexter City,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment.
Melissa Flesher, age 31, 598 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 39,
Marietta, for failing to appear for jury trial on 15 Aug 06.
David D. Hughes, age 37, 716 Beautyview Court, Columbus, for
fishing in the Ohio River without a license on 29 Jul 06.
Jason H. Malone, age 28, 85 Forshey Road, Reno, for violating
the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of completing
forty hours of community service and for failing to make $25.41
in restitution.
Kevin R. Shisier, age 41, 119 Ballard Street, Poplar Grove,
IL, for fishing in the Muskingum River without a license on
8 Aug 06.
Jessica Stevens, age 25, 6B Vandalia Estates, Mineral Wells,
for breaking detention when notified of being under arrest
on 12 Jul 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William Allen Avery, age 22, 146 ½ Front
Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, OH, for trafficking in drugs and
possession of drugs, both felonies. Avery was arrested on State
Route 7 by Patrolman Smeeks of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Aug 06
at 2:16 am.
Chad William Warner, age 21, 260 Greenbrier
Circle, Marietta, for domestic violence and criminal damaging,
both misdemeanors. Warner was arrested on Michaelis Road by
Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Aug 06
at 11:35 am.
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 25, 27681 State Route 7, Marietta,
for a felony charge of escape and a misdemeanor charge of failure
to appear. Stevens was arrested on Waterford Road by Detective
Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Aug 06 at 12:43
pm.
Perry Jeter Jr., age 37, 772 Lincoln Boulevard, Steubenville,
for failure to appear, a felony. Jeter was picked up at the
Northern Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 23 Aug 06 at 1:46 pm.
Curtis Carnell Canty, age 45, 109 Colonial Square Apt. B,
Marietta, for domestic violence, kidnapping and for two counts
of abduction, all felonies. Canty was picked up at the North
Central Regional Jail by Detective Garvey of the Belpre City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Aug 06 at 2:54 pm.
Donna Lea Whited, age 50, 1479 Collins Avenue, Marysville,
for sexual battery, a felony. Whited was picked up in Marysville
by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 Aug 06 at 5:50 pm.
