On 21 Aug 06 a D. Smith, age 28, 44 Morris
Loop Road, Marietta, reported stolen, two vehicles he inherited
as a result of his father’s recent death. After contacting
several local businesses Deputy Evans located the missing vehicles
and closed this case as unfounded.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Carey A. Nichelson, age 31, 125 Brown Street,
Belle Valley, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of paying $727.04 restitution, for failing to
appear to serve thirty days in jail and for failing to pay
fines.
Kyle M. Nolan, age 19, 423 31st Street, Parkersburg, for underage
consumption of alcohol.
Michael V. Richards, age 29, 1365 McGill Road, Vincent, for
violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain
contact with his probation officer and for failing to complete
a driver’s intervention program or to serve three days
in jail.
Larry A. Sheridan, age 30, 19067 Taylor Ridge Road, Glouster,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 15 Aug 06.
Amy L. Smithberger, age 19, 221 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Robert Vanmeter, age 47, 804 Clement
Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Vanmeter
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Williams of the
Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Aug 06 at 12:40 am.
Wesley Allan Morris, age 20, 2350 Waterford
Road, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Morris
turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Simmons and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 06 at 3:20 pm.
James Leroy Henthorn, age 27, 1150 Fifteenmile Creek Road,
Marietta, for attempted rape, a felony. Henthorn was picked
up at the Madison Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 21 Aug 06 at 5:30 pm.
Clayton Loren Books, age 26, 711 Ninth Street, Marietta, for
criminal damaging, a misdemeanor. Books was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Aug 06
at 6:00 pm.
