On 16 Aug 06 Justin Castin, age 28, 7166 Veto Road, Belpre, reported the front and rear license plates, Ohio registration number CKF 8034, were stolen off his vehicle while he worked his shift at Influent. This case remains under investigation (905).

On 16 Aug 06 a thirty-five year old Marietta resident reported she continually has problems controlling the behavior of her fourteen year old son. She detailed to Deputy Sheriff Eddy that while she was out of the residence that afternoon her son attempted to open a locked gun cabinet and lockbox and took his grandfather’s ATV without permission. Citing the juvenile’s actions as well as his past behavior that includes punching holes in walls, Deputy Eddy requested a summons for the teenager to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly.

On 16 Aug 06 a thirty-nine year old Waterford resident reported receiving a harassing and threatening phone call from his ex-wife at his place of employment in Marietta. This case remains under investigation (905).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Jesse A. Anderson, age 23, 138 Franklin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 29 Jul 06.

Merrill A. Dawson, age 59, 2743 Wood Street, Coolville, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 31 May 06.

Shannon M. Fowler, age 29, 628 Eighth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 15 Jul 06.

Mandie L. Hale, age 29, 2393 Wells Road, Waterford, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to complete forty hours of community service.

Rusty A. Knowlton, age 33, 411 Florence Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 7 Jul 06.

Leroy Lyons Jr., age 31, 1300 Lynn Street Apt. 3, Parkersburg, for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing 9 Aug 06.

Amber L. Sparks, age 26, 313 Franklin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to obtain a valid operator’s license by 12 Jul 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Autumn Leah Joseph, age 28, 5 Julie Lane, Marietta, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Joseph was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Aug 06 at 12:01 am.

Tony Trent Hill, age 41, PO Box 17, Bartlett, for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Hill turned himself in to Lt. Canavan in Marietta Municipal Court and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Aug 06 at 9:00 am.

Martin Dean Welch Jr., age 34, 230 Faye Avenue, Marietta, for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Welch was picked up at the Morgan County line by Captain Ketelsen of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Aug 06 at 2:15 pm.

Walter Eugene Friend Jr., age 38, 825 Saint Marys Avenue, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Friend was arrested on Clifton Street in Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Aug 06 at 3:35 pm.

Eddie Pacheco, age 18, 1005 Anthony Street, Burlington, NC, for operating with an expired license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Pacheco was arrested near milepost ten on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Aug 06 at 4:40 pm.
