On 11 Aug 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued
a citation to Joseph A. Sunderman, age 29, 808 Dewey Avenue,
Saint Marys, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Morris stopped
Mr. Sunderman on State Route 7 at Millers Lane in Marietta
Township.
On 11 Aug 06 Kenneth Young Jr., age 36, PO
Box 224, Glouster, reported after a minor verbal confrontation
with his father’s neighbor over the loudness of a vehicle’s
muffler, the neighbor, David Coe, age 57, 10557 State Route
555, Cutler, brandished a shotgun. Not denying the claim, Mr.
Coe acknowledged retrieving the weapon from his home but denied
threatening or pointing it toward anyone. Therefore Deputy
Sheriff Norman requested a summons for Mr. Coe for disorderly
conduct.
On 11 Aug 06, upon noting a discrepancy while
reconciling her checking account, Trish L. Scott, age 38, 300
Starlite Drive Lot 51, Marietta, reported she requested a copy
of a check she did not write and determined it was stolen and
forged for a “hundard dollars.” This case remains
under investigation (945).
On 11 Aug 06 Shari M. Wells, age 34, PO Box
81, Caldwell, reported while she visited her sister working
at the Macksburg “adult library,” an unknown suspect(s)
broke the window of her vehicle and stole her purse. This case
remains under investigation (1001, 107).

Katherine Danner, age 45, 5999 North Torch
Road, Little Hocking, for failing to appear for a debtor’s
exam.
Stephen Dowler, age 48, 3168 Veto Road, Vincent, for failing
to appear for a debtor’s exam.
Jeremy R. Braun, age 22, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for failing
to appear to serve twenty days in jail on 7 Aug 06.
James M. Cantwell Jr., age 34, 301 Broad Street, Macksburg,
for disorderly conduct by fighting on 31 May 06.
Mary A. Potts, age 24, 135 Groves Avenue, Marietta, for passing
a bad check for $68.42 to Sponey’s IGA on 28 Feb 04.
Michael J. Potts, age 30, 2818 State Route 124, Little Hocking,
for passing a bad check for $48.29 to Sponey’s IGA on
30 Dec 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Christopher Brian Arnett, age 24, 833 Ridge
Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and speeding, both misdemeanors. Arnett was arrested at the
Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Aug 06 at 12:44 am.
Glen Eugene Starcher, age 41, 1001 Bear Run
Road, Reno, for driving under an OVI suspended license, giving
false information to avoid a ticket and for violating the terms
of his probation, all misdemeanors. Starcher was arrested on
Arends Ridge Road by Deputy Sheriff Eddy and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 06 at 9:10 am.
Susan Renae Welch, age 31, 13839 State Route 26, Reno, a fugitive
from justice. Welch was arrested at the Super 8 Motel by Deputy
Sheriff Eddy and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 11 Aug 06 at 10:35 am.
