On 9 Aug 06 the manager of The Jug, State
Route 7, Newport, reported that three days ago she observed
three unknown suspects dispose of the bags of refuse in the
business’ dumpster without permission. This case remains
under investigation (1097).
On 9 Aug 06 Deputy Sheriffs Day and Reynolds
responded to a domestic dispute involving a forty-one year
old woman and her seventeen year old daughter at a residence
on State Route 26 in Marietta. Beginning as an argument over
who was to answer the phone, the mother answered the phone
only to have her daughter attempt to grab it from her. The
juvenile struggled to get the phone, pushing and hitting her
mother in the process. As a result of the incident Deputy Sheriff
Day requested a summons for the juvenile to appear in Juvenile
Court for being delinquent.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Julie Ann Brooker, age 32, 1193 Schwendeman
Road, Waterford, for two felony counts of burglary. Brooker
was arrested on State Route 676 by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Aug 06 at
1:12 am.
Danny Joe Merinar, age 31, 901 Elm Street
Apt. B, Racine, OH, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Merinar was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 9 Aug 06 at 3:01 pm.
Jerry Allen Johnson, age 52, Marietta, for trafficking in
drugs, a felony. Johnson was picked up in Chillicothe by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Aug 06 at 3:24 pm.
Adam Christopher Gonzalez, age 24, 210 Cleveland Street, Elyria,
OH, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both
misdemeanors. Gonzalez turned himself in to Corrections Officer
Farrell and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
9 Aug 06 at 4:00 pm.
Mark Aaron McIntyre, age 24, 223 Broughton Avenue, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. McIntyre
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Aug 06 at 5:11 pm.
