On 30 Jul 06 Amanda Minton, age 21, 205 Church
Street, Senecaville, reported her live-in boyfriend Casey J.
Henry, age 24, repeatedly slapped and yelled at her as she
drove northbound on Interstate 77. Turning onto State Route
821 looking to phone for help, Ms. Minton stated she stopped
the truck to retrieve a dropped cigarette when Mr. Henry twice
pushed her head into the steering wheel. She forced her intoxicated
boyfriend from the stopped vehicle where he lay until Deputy
Sheriff Simmons arrested him for domestic violence.
On 30 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Donna K. Loar, age 52, 1220 McGrath Road, Macksburg,
for failure to obey a traffic control device. Deputy Mankins
stopped Ms. Loar after he observed her drive straight through
the intersection at State Route 7 and Captain Sealy Drive in
a lane marked right turn only.
On 30 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Gary E. Luke, age 35, 225 South Seventh Street,
Marietta, for pulling a trailer without license plates. Deputy
Mankins stopped Mr. Luke on East Branch Road at Dixon Ridge
Road in Adams Township.
On 30 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a seventeen year old
Marietta resident. Smelling alcohol, Deputy Mankins questioned
the juvenile on his perceived inebriety. The teenager, admitting
he drank alcohol at a party in Marietta, was issued a summons
to appear in Juvenile Court for being delinquent and released
to his mother’s custody.
On 30 Jul 06 Todd Schaad, age 30, 793 Rauch
Road, Watertown, reported he has not seen his Ruger 10-22 rifle
since 26 Jul 06 and believes it was stolen from inside his
home. This case remains under investigation (684).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shawn Henry Farnsworth, age 34, 10825 Highland Ridge Road,
Macksburg, for driving under a suspended license and for not
wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested
on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 12:45 am.
Jonathan Elwood Porter, age 27, 4152 Early Ridge Road, McConnelsville,
for a felony charge of OVI and misdemeanor charges of driving
under an OVI suspended license, driving under an FRA suspended
license and for OVI. Porter was arrested on Main Street in
Waterford by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 2:10 am.
Larry Dale Haught Jr., age 26, 211 Meigs Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor. Haught was
arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Hickey of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 2:40 am.
Casey Gene Henry, age 24, 205 Church Street, Senecaville,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Henry was arrested in
Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 5:10 am.
John Allen Dye II, age 40, 240 Lauer Lane, Whipple, for violating
the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Dye was arrested
on Coffman Road by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 7:00 am.
Ricky Dee Hines, age 44, 271 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for
aggravated menacing and for violating the terms of his probation,
both misdemeanors. Hines was arrested on Ninth Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jul 06
at 7:37 pm.
Deane Alan Curtis, age 44, 633 Seventh Street, Marietta, for
domestic violence, a felony. Curtis was arrested on Linwood
Avenue in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Jul 06 at 11:05 pm.
