On 29 Jul 06 Jedediah Best, age 22, 1370 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, reported while he received treatment for his injuries, that he opened his front door for an acquaintance and another individual barged is way into his home and assaulted him. Mr. Best stated he was knocked to the floor where the suspect, who is dating his ex-girlfriend, repeatedly kicked him in the face. This case remains under investigation (586).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Terry Lee Chidester, age 23, 623 Virginia Street Apt. 104, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Chidester was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 12:01 am.

Nicholas Robert Spung, age 20, 922A Mitchell Avenue, Beverly, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Spung was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Brockmeier of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 1:10 am.

Kenneth Eugene Goff, age 45, 602 Florence Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Goff was arrested on State Route 7 by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 3:50 am.

Barry Duane Boice, age 21, 504 Fifth Street, Williamstown, for OVI and improper turning, both misdemeanors. Boice was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 5:00 am.

Troy Eric Gilbert, age 39, 6290 Lakeview Drive, Ravenna, OH, for driving under a suspended license and for operating an unsafe vehicle, both misdemeanors. Gilbert was arrested near milepost three on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 7:30 pm.

William Jason King, age 28, 1774 Deming Road, Fleming, for two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of his probation. King was arrested at the Bartlett Corner Store by Sgt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 8:55 pm.

Elizabeth Ann Wheeler, age 20, 37374 Zion Road, Hamden, OH, for operating with an expired license and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Wheeler was arrested near milepost six on US 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Jul 06 at 10:30 pm.
