On 28 Jul 06 Lt. Huffer and Deputy Sheriff
Malone responded to a disturbance at the home of Billie Jo
Mowery, age 27, 1936 Barth Road, Belpre. Arriving home to find
her brother Steven M. Boise, age 20, Route 4 Box 131A, Mineral
Wells, in her home, Ms. Mowery stated he appeared intoxicated
and damaged a number of items in the home. Mr. Boise ignored
his sister’s incessant pleas to leave but finally did
so prior to the arrival of the Deputies. As a result, Deputy
Malone requested a warrant for Mr. Boise for trespassing.
On 28 Jul 06 Marilin Garner, age 42, 4755
State Route 339, Vincent, reported she has received a number
of menacing phone calls over the past seven days from Donnie
G. Snyder, age 46, 603 Main Street Apt. B, Belpre, in violation
of a civil protection order. Once he confirmed the violation
by listening to a recorded message Deputy Rhodes arrested Mr.
Snyder and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 28 Jul 06 George Day, age 80, 885 Mount
Tom Road, Marietta, reported after noticing signs of forced
entry on two doors, he believes unknown suspect(s) entered
his home and stole a jar of change containing approximately
fifty dollars. This case remains under investigation (500).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Douglas Edward Smith, age 34, 501 Second Street
Apt. 2, Marietta, for felony charges of theft and complicity
in forgery and misdemeanor charges of theft, failure to appear,
operating without a license and failing to obey the right of
way. Smith was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Ellenwood
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 06 at 10:30 am.
Christopher Lee Brinson, age 23, 437 High Street Apt. F, New
Philadelphia, for domestic violence and breach of recognizance,
both misdemeanors. Brinson was picked up at the Tuscarawas
County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 06 at 12:33 pm.
Carl Edward Whitacre, age 19, 35520 State Route 537, Graysville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Whitacre
was picked up in Graysville by Deputy Sheriff Ferrell and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 06 at 8:05 pm.
Donnie Gene Snyder, age 46, 603 Main Street Apt. B, Belpre,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Snyder was arrested his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 06
at 11:30 pm.
