On 19 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to Paul E. Leasure II, age 28, 81 Mitchell’s Trailer Court, Washington, WV, for pulling another vehicle without a license plate. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Leasure on State Route 7 at Joe Skinner Road in Dunham Township.

On 19 Jul 06 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriff Day received notification of a suspect with a domestic violence warrant was currently at his residence at 101 Mulberry Street, Newport. The Deputies knocked, were invited inside and observed the suspect, Jason E. Wolfe, age 33, sitting at a table with a tin of green leafy vegetation in front of him along with rolling papers and a rolling machine. Lt. Canavan placed Mr. Wolfe under arrest for domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 19 Jul 06 Bradley E. Baylor, age 36, 1270 Caywood Road, Marietta, reported during the previous evening an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and removed a Crown Royal bag that contained approximately fifty dollars in quarters. This case remains under investigation (905, 1001).

On 19 James E. Corder, age 40, 19113 State Route 821, Macksburg, reported being assaulted by his nephew Jessie J. Corder, age 25, 141 Main Street, Macksburg. Mr. Corder is unsure why his nephew was so agitated, but stated the two exchanged harsh words and scornful glances. Then when he turned his back to return to his residence, Mr. Corder stated his nephew struck him in the back of the head with a 1” x 2” x 15” pine board. Confirming the chain of events with witnesses, Deputy Spencer requested a summons for Jessie Corder for assault.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jennifer Nicole Huddleston, age 26, 508 Front Street Apt. 3, Marietta, for four misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Huddleston was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 3:15 am.

Shawn Edward Casto, age 27, 719 Fourth Street, Belpre, for felonious assault. Casto was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 6:58 am.

Dusty Albert Davis, age 18, 711 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested at his residence by Detective Garvey of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 11:34 am.

John Lewis Lindsey II, age 30, 120 Harmar Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Lindsey was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 1:18 pm.

Darci Dee McIntyre, age 39, 836 Pike Street Apt. 2, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. McIntyre was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 2:24 pm.

John Aaron Givens, age 25, Orient, OH, for felony charges of attempted burglary and breaking entering as well as a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs. Givens was picked up at the Corrections Reception Center by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 4:45 pm.

Earnest Lee Foster IV, age 27, 274 Patten Street, Marion, OH, for theft, a felony. Foster was arrested in New Matamoras by Lt. Canavan of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 5:30 pm.

Natalie Sue Weckbacher, age 23, 2393 Wells Road, Waterford, for OVI and for overtaking traffic in designated hazardous zones, both misdemeanors. Weckbacher was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 7:45 pm.

Jason Eugene Wolfe, age 33, 101 Mulberry Street, Newport, for domestic violence and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Wolfe was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Day and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 06 at 10:40 pm.
