On 13 Jul 06 Lori Crock, age 18, 1961 Swift
Road, Waterford, reported while she was changing her baby’s
diaper the father of her child, Nathaniel L. Elder, age 27,
940 Layman Road, Vincent, began agitating and swearing at her.
Once she finished, Mr. Elder pushed her to the floor for no
apparent reason and struck her in the forehead with the palm
of his hand. After Ms. Crock stood, Mr. Elder again pushed
her down, causing her to fall onto a table and car seat. Upon
completing a domestic violence report Deputy Sheriff Evans
located Mr. Elder on State Route 7 in Belpre, arrested him
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 13 Jul 06 Detective Parks issued minor
misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana to Veronica
N. Carter, age 21, 2274 Wake Forest Road, Blacksburg, VA, and
Octavia D. Holmes, age 24, 1116 Peerless Avenue, Akron. The
two were stopped in a vehicle on Interstate 77 and found to
be in possession of three marijuana cigarettes.
On 13 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Randall E. Stotts, age 49, 1013 Third Street, Marietta,
for driving under an OVI suspended license. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Stotts at the intersection of Second and Wooster Streets
in Marietta.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Richard Martindell, age 25, 1005 Front Street, Marietta,
for felony charges of aggravated burglary and assault and misdemeanor
charges of criminal damaging, resisting arrest and three counts
of domestic violence. Martindell was arrested on Second Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
13 Jul 06 at 12:11 am.
Cody Justin Cline, age 26, 58193 Night Hawk Road, Senecaville,
OH, for felony charges of possession of drugs and possession
of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor charge of OVI. Cline
was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 13 Jul 06 at 1:47 am.
Jason Scott Dotson, age 26, 697 Hill Road, Cutler, for OVI,
failure to control and for failure to comply with the order/signal
of an officer, all misdemeanors. Dotson was arrested on State
Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 06 at 5:00 am.
Roger Lee Ward Jr., age 28, 1225 Weppler Road,
Lowell, for robbery, a felony. Weppler was picked up at the
Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 06
at 10:15 am.
Kiley Brooke Ingles, age 18, 1671 Fourth Street, Columbus,
for theft, a misdemeanor. Ingles was arrested in Beverly by
Patrolman Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 06 at 1:25 pm.
Nathaniel Lee Elder, age 27, 940 Layman Road, Vincent, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Elder was arrested on State
Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Jul 06 at 3:00 pm.
