On 10 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Kenneth Gibson, age 19, 614 Elm Street, Belpre,
for driving under a violator compact suspended license. Deputy
Mankins stopped Mr. Gibson on Gravel Bank Road near Robinson
Hill Road in Warren Township.
On 10 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to John H. Flinn, age 38, 260 Radabaugh Road, Marietta,
for towing a vehicle without a license plate. Deputy Mankins
stopped Mr. Flinn on Gravel Bank Road near Ross Road in Warren
Township.
On 10 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to Jesse A. Griffith, age 25, 914 33rd Street, Parkersburg,
for traveling 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole stopped
Mr. Griffith on State Route 7 near Township Road 7 in Warren
Township.
On 10 Jul 06 Richard H. Haught Jr., age 46,
513 Smith Street, Marietta, reported at some point during the
previous evening an unknown suspect(s) set fire to a 1985 GMC
truck he had parked on his property at 4643 County Nine Road.
This case remains under investigation (1299).
On 10 Jul 06 Ronda D. Britton, age 31, 541
Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, reported being assaulted by her
former live-in boyfriend of three years, Jeffrey A. Friesner,
age 31, 352 Witte Street, Lancaster. After fixing breakfast
for Mr. Friesner, who appeared unannounced and uninvited at
the home on Friday, Ms. Britton informed him she no longer
desired to see him and ordered him to leave the residence.
In response Mr. Friesner slapped Ms. Britton, who escaped into
another room to phone for assistance. Mr. Friesner then stole
a set of two way radios from another room and left the residence.
The Belpre City Police Department located and held Mr. Friesner
until Deputy Sheriff Mankins placed him in custody for domestic
violence and theft.

Office received the following warrants:
William L. Schofield, age 45, 1224 Drag Strip
Road, for contempt for failing to appear to serve three days
in jail on 20 Jun 06.
Jason T. Bailey, age 30, 10260 State Route
550, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to pdays his
fines in full or to appear for a mandatory fine hearing on
21 Jun 06.
Amy J. Lehosit, age 22, 12141 Woodrow Lane, Pickerington,
for assault and criminal trespassing on 23 Mar 06.
Jason H. Malone, age 28, 85 Forshey Road, Reno, for failing
to appear for pretrial on 26 Jun 06.
Jessica L. Stevens, age 24, 21763 State Route 7 Apt. D, Marietta,
for failing to appear to serve twenty-four days in jail on
30 Jun 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Barry Roy Laizure, age 34, 275 Wardell Street,
Uhrichsville, OH, for felony charges of nonsupport of dependants
and possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of possession
of drugs, driving under a suspended license, speeding and possession
of drug paraphernalia. Laizure was arrested on Interstate 77
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Jul 06 at 3:44 am.
John Randall Buckley, age 32, 66 Star Road,
Reno, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Buckley was arrested
in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 06 at 2:30 pm.
Jeffrey Allen Friesner, age 31, 352 Witte Street, Lancaster,
for domestic violence and theft, both misdemeanors. Friesner
was arrested at Kroger in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jul 06
at 4:30 pm.
