On 9 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris arrested
Mark A. Connolly, age 36, 4035 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI. While inside the Fourth Street Sheriff’s
Office, Deputy Morris observed Mr. Connolly retrieve a beer
from the bed of his truck and enter the driver’s seat.
As Mr. Connolly began to drive away Deputy Morris ran outside
and yelled for him to stop. Once he noticed an odor of alcohol
on Mr. Connolly, Deputy Morris requested he perform field sobriety
tests. Following Mr. Connolly’s poor performance on the
tests, he was arrested and transported to the Washington County
Jail where he tested .113% BAC.
On 9 Jul 06 Crystal D. Fox, age 21, 1308 Williamson
Avenue Apt. 7D, New Matamoras, reported when she awoke that
her vehicle and her live-in boyfriend of one month, Earnest
L. Forster, age 27, were missing. Mr. Forster phoned Ms. Fox
later in the afternoon, stating he was staying in Marion, OH
with a woman he met over the internet and was abandoning the
vehicle at a gas station there. Therefore Deputy Sheriff Morris
requested a warrant for Mr. Forster for grand theft.
On 9 Jul 06 Ashley L. Holland, age 22, 395
Tice Run Road, New Matamoras, reported her vehicle was damaged
while she was at the Grandview Tavern with friends after midnight
that morning. Ms. Holland indicated she’s had numerous
problems with Valeria M. Holdren, age 22, 425 Greene Street,
Newport, and prior to her vehicle being damaged Ms. Holdren
instigated an altercation at the tavern. Shortly thereafter,
a friend of Ms. Holland observed Ms. Holdren kick backwards
toward the passenger side door and dent Ms. Holland’s
vehicle. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Evans requested a summons
for Ms. Holdren for criminal damaging.
On 9 Jul 06 a thirty-six year old New Matamoras
resident reported she believes her seventeen year old daughter
is smoking, drinking and engaging in sexual relations with
a twenty-one year old male. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Charles Robert McLaughlin, age 44, 27486 State Route 7, Marietta,
for using a weapon while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. McLaughlin
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 06 at 2:40
am.
Deborah Lynn Thompson, age 42, 27486 State Route 7, Marietta,
for using a weapon while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Thompson
was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 06 at 3:15
am.
Myrtle Louise McCullough, age 41, 5037 Prosperity Ridge Road,
Charlotte, NC, for driving under an FRA suspended license and
speeding, both misdemeanors. McCullough was arrested near milepost
four on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 06 at 5:42
pm.
Mark Allen Connolly, age 36, 4035 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Connolly was arrested on
Fourth Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 06 at 7:25 pm.
Bradley Ray Owens, age 40, 807 Neal Street, Parkersburg, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Owens was arrested near the Athens County line
by Patrolman Davis of the Belpre City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 06 at 8:45
pm.
