On 8 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested
Frank J. Wright, age 82, 117 Wilson Avenue, Marietta, for .08
breath OVI. Noticing Mr. Wright’s odd behavior after
driving around a road block on Third Street and stopping, Deputy
Mankins stepped from his vehicle and offered assistance. Deputy
Mankins noticed an odor of alcohol and requested Mr. Wright
perform field sobriety tests. Following Mr. Wright’s
poor performance on the tests, he was arrested and transported
to the Washington County Jail where he tested .096% BAC.
On 8 Jul 06 the manager of Sponey’s
IGA, 411 Fifth Street, Beverly, reported after reviewing surveillance
footage of a cashier he believes the cashier stole $70 from
the bakery cash register. Reviewing the surveillance tape and
checking receipts, Deputy Sheriff Evans reached the same conclusion.
When confronted with the evidence, Leah Y. Himler, age 18,
411 North Center Bend Road, Beverly, confessed to stealing
the money. In consequence Deputy Evans requested a summons
for Ms. Himler for theft.
On 8 Jul 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a
citation to William T. Holton, 3259 Lyntz Road, Warren, OH,
for traveling 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped
Mr. Holton near milepost twenty-six on State Route 7 in Marietta.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
John Edward Duskey, age 30, 610 Main Street, Waterford, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Duskey
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Ketelsen
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at
5:50 pm.
Justin Allen Harris, age 24, 404 Montgomery Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Harris
was arrested at Starfire in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at 5:50 pm.
Gary P. Farnsworth Jr., age 35, 6350 State Route 821 Apt.
A, Whipple, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Farnsworth was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer
Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8
Jul 06 at 6:40 pm.
Frank Junior Wright, age 82, 117 Wilson Avenue, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Wright was arrested on Greene
Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at 7:10 pm.
Daniel Wayne Blair Jr., 330 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Blair
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at
8:10 pm.
Beatrice Kay Chidester, age 47, 210 ½ Spring Street,
Marietta, for a felony charge of assault and misdemeanor charges
of obstructing official business and resisting arrest. Chidester
was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at 8:59 pm.
Rickey Elden Anderson, age 48, 290 Masonic Park Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Anderson
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jul 06 at
10:20 pm.
