On 7 Jul 06 the owner of Kenmack Lumber, 386
Dana Road, Newport, reported three Stihl chainsaws, valued
at a total of $3,000, were stolen from the business overnight.
This case remains under investigation (500).
On 7 Jul 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to
Phillip A. Miller, age 35, 374 Claylick Road, Sherman, WV,
for pulling a trailer without a license plate. Lt. Wilson stopped
Mr. Miller on State Route 7 at Gravel Bank Road in Warren Township.
On 7 Jul 06 James E. Ball, age 46, 884 Greenhill
Road, Marietta, reported a trailer-style .25 cubic yard cement
mixer was stolen from his property along Greenhill Road approximately
a week ago. This case remains under investigation (1203).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Chico Maurice Mason, age 31, 122 Tennis Center
Drive Apt. 3, Marietta, for OVI and driving under a suspended
license, both misdemeanors. Mason was arrested on Pike Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
6 Jul 06 at 4:10 am.
Brewce William Martin, age 40, 34961 Hutton
Road, Rutland, OH, for contempt of a court order and for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both
misdemeanors. Martin was picked up in Nelsonville by Lt. Ketelsen
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 06 at 11:55 am.
Aaron Lee Winer, age 21, 1045 Sandhill Road Lot B, Reno, for
contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Winer turned himself
in to Corrections Officer Reeder and was processed into the
Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 06 at 2:27 pm.
Sharon Louise Hinkle, age 50, PO Box 743, New Matamoras, for
resisting arrest and disorderly conduct by intoxication, both
misdemeanors. Hinkle was arrested on State Route 7 by Chief
Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 06 at 8:57 pm.
Robert Alan Combs, age 51, 141 Albright Road, Beverly, for
OVI and driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors.
Combs was arrested on State Route 339 by Patrolman Oliver of
the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 7 Jul 06 at 11:44 pm.
