On 2 Jul 06 a twenty-three year old Marietta resident reported receiving several harassing and threatening phone calls. Once Deputy Sheriff Eddy spoke to the suspect, the victim declined to pursue the matter further.

On 2 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole arrested Lillie B. Singer, age 46, 11827 State Route 555, Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order. Witnesses reported seeing Ms. Singer walking along Big Run Road in Cutler with a shotgun.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert Edward Carpenter, age 32, 2665 Mill Fork Road, Marietta, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested on Franklin Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 06 at 4:02 am.

Sherisha Louis Magagi Ali, age 22, 2207 Soft Wind Court, Columbus, for OVI, not wearing a seat belt and improper turning, all misdemeanors. Ali was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 06 at 4:17 am.

Lillie Belle Singer, age 46, 11827 State Route 555, Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Singer was arrested in Decatur Township by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 06 at 7:51 am.

Elisha Michael Amos, age 23, 1619 Washington Boulevard Apt. 4, Belpre, for theft, a misdemeanor. Amos was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 06 at 11:00 pm.
