On 27 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Spencer investigated
an incidence of domestic violence between a forty-two year
old mother and her fourteen year old son at a residence in
Belpre. The mother stated she was attempting to discipline
her son with a belt after he overturned a table and rocking
chair. Usurping the belt, the juvenile wrestled his mother
to the floor, causing her to be in fear for her safety. Once
he confirmed the victim’s account with witnesses Deputy
Spencer arrested the fourteen year old on a charge of delinquency
and transported him to the Washington County Juvenile Center.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Charles Ray Bower, age 43, 263 John W. Barbee Road, Ray, OH,
for driving under an FRA suspended License and speeding, both
misdemeanors. Bower was arrested on State Route 339 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Jun 06 at 2:40 am.
Ricky Dee Hines, age 44, 271 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hines
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 06 at 8:23
am.
Deidra Michelle Wriston, age 25, 95 Lang Farm
Road, Marietta, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear
and a misdemeanor count of violating the terms of her probation.
Wriston was turned herself in to Patrolman Heddleston of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Jun 06 at 8:46 am.
Shaun Allen Griffin, age 22, 314 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Griffin was arrested on Fearing Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
27 Jun 06 at 4:30 pm.
Martin Deane Gibbs Jr., age 18, 1421 Lancaster Street Apt.
100D, Marietta, for felony charges of theft and complicity
in aggravated burglary and misdemeanor charges of theft and
criminal damaging. Gibbs was arrested at his residence by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 06 at 5:01 pm.
Christina Rose Hines, age 36, 711 Ninth Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
Hines was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Huffman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Jun 06 at 9:59 pm.
