On 26 Jun 06 a forty-four year old Marietta
resident reported her sixteen year old son drove off in her
Pontiac Grand Am without being granted permission. Unable to
locate the juvenile and vehicle while patrolling the area,
Deputy Sheriff Stackpole requested a summons for the juvenile
for being delinquent.
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Douglas T. Holsinger, age 26, 145 Lewis Road,
Belpre, for pulling a trailer without brake lights. Deputy
Mankins stopped Mr. Holsinger on State Route 7 at Gravel Bank
Road in Warren Township.
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Michael J. Fletcher, age 42, 101 South 16th Street,
McConnelsville, for pulling a trailer without brake lights.
Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Fletcher on State Route 7 at Gravel
Bank Road in Warren Township.
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Dana K. Tabler, age 47, 232 McGraw Road, Stewart,
for operating a vehicle without brake lights. Deputy Mankins
stopped Mr. Tabler on State Route 7 at Gravel Bank Road in
Warren Township.
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Jared A. Morris, age 23, 1009 Lakeview Drive,
Parkersburg, for traveling 91 mph in a 55 mph zone and for
failing to display tags. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Morris
on State Route 7 at Gravel Bank Road in Warren Township.
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Daniel L. Henry, age 31, 32897 Happy Hollow Road,
Middleport, operating a vehicle without brake lights. Deputy
Mankins stopped Mr. Henry on State Route 7 at lock eighteen
in Dunham Township.
On 26 Jun 06 an employee of Shelly & Sands,
3570 South River Road, to a Zanesville, reported when he returned
to a work location that morning he noticed every glass area
on the company truck was broken. This case remains under investigation
(1020).
On 26 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Hall requested
a warrant for Julie A. Ash, age 30, Pennock Trailer Court Lot
16, Beverly, for violating the terms of a protection order.
Ms. Ash allegedly instigated a confrontation with her seventeen
year old stepdaughter, in violation of a protection order,
outside a residence on Whipple Run Road on 24 Jun 06.
On 26 Jun 06 James W. Dunn, age 60, 2100 Stanleyville
Narrows Road, Whipple, reported $800 in cash wash was stolen
from a bank bag he believed was skillfully hidden beneath a
towel in the console of his unlocked truck. This case remains
under investigation (1020).
On 26 Jun 06 the owner of Seaman’s General
Store, 925 Warrior Drive, Vincent, reported at some point since
Saturday evening an eight horsepower shredder/chipper was stolen
from a display outside the front of his store. This case remains
under investigation (296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jeffrey Thomas Fenton, age 26, 3135 Pleasant
Grove Road, Zanesville, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony.
Fenton turned himself in at the Courthouse to Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and was processed into the Washington County
Jail on 26 Jun 06 at 8:54 am.
Louis Roe Cavillis, age 35, 122 Elmwood Avenue,
Marietta, for two misdemeanor counts of failure to appear.
Cavillis was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Douglas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jun 06 at 10:40 am.
Troy Lorinda Wood, age 42, 1320 Oak Street, Parkersburg, for
operating with an expired license and for failure to obey the
right of way, both misdemeanors. Wood was arrested on Pike
Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 26 Jun 06 at 4:02 pm.
Mechelle Lynne Nichols, age 43, Pennock Trailer Court Lot
4, Beverly, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Nichols was arrested at her
residence by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26
Jun 06 at 7:30 pm.
John Leonard Clark, age 34, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors.
Clark was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26
Jun 06 at 8:35 pm.
Clyde Newton Fisher III, age 34, 14496 Township Road 1142,
Ava, OH, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Fisher was picked
up at the Noble County line by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 26 Jun 06 at 10:45 pm.
