On 21 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued
a citation to Jeffrey C. Davis, age 29, 903 Front Street, Marietta,
for driving under a license suspended for not paying child
support. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Davis at the intersection
of Seventh and Pike Streets in Marietta.
On 21 Jun 06 Neil Shumaker, age 59, 57 McGill
Road, Vincent, reported a five by eight foot drop gate utility
trailer was stolen from among his business’ masonry equipment
sometime during the overnight hours. This case remains under
investigation (597).
On 21 Jun 06 Charissa J. Biehl, age 29, 281
Seevers Road, Newport, reported beginning in the late hours
of Tuesday evening and continuing into early Wednesday morning
she was assaulted at the hands of her live-in boyfriend of
three years, Richard Eddy, age 38. Ms. Biehl stated Mr. Eddy
ordered her to go purchase a six pack of beer and when she
returned with the frothy beverage he began a tirade. Screaming,
spitting in the face of Ms. Biehl, pulling her hair and throwing
her to the floor, Mr. Eddy physically removed his girlfriend
from the house and locked the door. While Ms. Biehl sought
refuge at a relative’s home, Mr. Eddy was arrested for
domestic violence and transported to the Washington County
Jail.
On 21 Jun 06 Scott A. Mayle, age 30, 1672
Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, reported while he was away from his
home between 7 and 7:30 pm the previous evening his customized
Yamaha Warrior ATV was stolen from his garage. This case remains
under investigation (1183).
On 21 Jun 06 Maxine F. Kittle, age 32, 370
Grubb Road, Marietta, reported while she was out of town between
15 May and 13 Jun 06 her People’s Bank debit card and
a book of checks were stolen from her home. This case remains
under investigation (1299).
On 21 Jun 06 an employee of Smith Concrete
reported a fiberglass extension ladder, two twelve foot nylon
slings and a six foot nylon sling were stolen from the business’ mobile
worksite near milepost two on Sparling Road in Waterford. This
case remains under investigation (200).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Christopher R. Davis, age 26, 704 Elm Street
Apt. 10, Belpre, for fishing in Veto Lake without a license
on 27 May 06.
Nathan G. McDaniel, age 18, 704 Elm Street Apt. 10, Belpre,
for fishing in Veto Lake without a license on 27 May 06.
Michael V. Richards, age 28, 1365 McGill Road, Vincent, for
violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain
contact with his probation officer and for failing to complete
a driver’s intervention program or serve three days in
jail.
Patrick M. Robinson, age 42, 208 Seventh Street, Beverly,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of paying restitution and for failing to complete twenty-four
hours of community service as ordered by the court.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shane Lee Goins, age 29, 464 Moxahala Avenue,
Zanesville, for a felony charge of illegally conveying items
into a detention facility and two misdemeanor counts of failure
to appear. Goins was picked up at the Zanesville Police Department
by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Jun 06 at 4:04 pm.
Richard Hamilton Eddy, age 38, 281 Seevers
Road, Newport, for domestic violence, a felony. Eddy was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 06 at 5:55 pm.
