On 16 Jun 06 Michael L. Haught, age 37, 143 Star Road, Marietta, reported the air conditioner attached to the home he is building was stolen sometime during the past two days. An investigation by Deputy Sheriff Simmons concluded Mr. Haught’s contractor removed the unit to exchange for another model at Mr. Haught’s request.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Howard Dwight Starlin, age 33, 3065 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, for two counts of endangering children, OVI, driving under a suspended license and having fictitious plates, all misdemeanors. Starlin was arrested at the Duke station in Lowell by Lt. Wilson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 06 at 3:48 am.

Deborah Fay Haney, age 18, 610 Halcyon Avenue, McConnelsville, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Haney was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 06 at 5:55 am.

Christopher Russell McCort, age 26, 610 Halcyon Avenue, McConnelsville, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of OVI and driving under a suspended license. McCort was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Jun 06 at 5:55 am.
