On 14 Jun 06 Lt. Wilson requested a summons
for a fifteen year old Cutler resident to appear in Juvenile
Court for being delinquent. The teenager allegedly stole a
cellular phone from his teacher’s desk at Warren High
School on 30 May 06 and used it to place several calls to his
friends.
On 14 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriffs Evans and Norman
responded to a burglar alarm at Buckeye Gun Works, 13438 State
Route 339, Vincent. The Deputies observed obvious signs of
forced entry and collected evidence until the business’s
owner Eric M. Schaad, age 27, 575 Schott Road, Waterford, arrived.
Mr. Schaad conducted a cursory inventory of items and concluded
three rifles were missing. This case remains under investigation.
On 14 Jun 06 Philip M. Cring Jr., age 37,
613 Carson Lane, Little Hocking, reported as he was walking
with two of his children along Carson Lane the previous evening,
a person against whom he has a protection order allegedly yelled
at him, a violation of said order. Reviewing the protection
order, Detective Smithberger determined no violation occurred.
On 14 Jun 06 Ann M. Long, age 32, 4736 Dixon
Ridge Road, Lowell, reported between midnight and 1 am that
morning an unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked barn on her
property and removed one kerosene and one gasoline fuel container.
This case remains under investigation (1020, 1083).
On 14 Jun 06 Lt. Huffer arrested Michael R.
Lee, age 53, 395 Warrior Drive, Vincent, for OVI and driving
left of center. Lt. Huffer observed Mr. Lee’s vehicle
travel left of center on State Route 550 and performed poorly
on field sobriety tests. Arrested and transported to the Washington
County Jail, Mr. Lee tested .196% BAC.
On 14 Jun 06 Brenda J. Harris, age 33, 15524
State Route 60, Lowell, reported sometime since 5 Jun her gold
diamond wedding band was stolen from the nightstand in her
bedroom. This case remains under investigation (1299).
On 14 Jun 06 Shelda Hogue, age 43, 1045 Sandhill
Road Lot 14, Marietta, reported witnessing two unidentified
men illegally disposing of trash on her mother’s property
at 360 Peggs Fork Road, Newport. This case remains under investigation
(690).
On 14 Jun 06 Heather Lamp, age 28, 407 Eighth
Street Lot B, Belpre, reported during as discussion with her
ex-husband in a storage room at her place of employment her
ex-husband pushed her in an effort to prevent her from leaving
the room. This case remains under investigation (232).
On 14 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans arrested
Barbara L. Tidd, age 45, 366 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, for
.08 breath OVI and driving under an FRA suspended license.
Deputy Evans observed Ms. Tidd’s vehicle travel left
of center and to the right of the fog line as he followed her
northbound on State Route 821. Performing poorly on field sobriety
tests, Ms. Tidd was arrested and transported to the Washington
County Jail where she tested .157% BAC.

Evelyn McIntyre, age 83, 101 Julia Avenue,
Williamstown, for failing to appear for a debtor’s exam.
Jennifer Warrener, age 30, 1358 Masonic Park Road, Marietta,
for failing to appear for a debtor’s exam.
Michael Smith, age 32, 58 W. Jefferson Avenue, McConnelsville,
for failing to appear for a debtor’s exam.
Alyssa Pfalzgraf, age 31, 158 Kellar Lane, Williamstown, for
failing to appear for a debtor’s exam.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Chase Clinton Rose, age 25, State Route 800,
Malaga, OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Rose was arrested on State Route 7 by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Jun 06 at 3:47 am.
Michael Ray Lee, age 53, 395 Warrior Drive,
Vincent, for OVI and driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Lee was arrested on State Route 550 by Lt. Huffer of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Jun 06 at 7:47 pm.
