On 12 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman arrested
Susanne B. Luke, age 43, 621 Virginia Street, Marietta, for
.08 breath OVI. Dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle
crash at 29445 State Route 7, Marietta, Deputy Norman noticed
an odor of alcohol on Ms. Luke. Following her poor performance
on field sobriety tests Ms. Luke was arrested and transported
to the Washington County Jail where she tested .145% BAC.
On 12 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to John R. Yancey, age 67, Route 1 Box 105, Nicut,
WV, for failing to display his vehicle’s registration.
Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Yancey on State Route 550 near Foxhaven
Drive in Barlow Township.
On 12 Jun 06 Kimberly D. Klinglesmith, age
25, 881 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, reported when she returned
to her residence after being away overnight she noticed her
door’s lock was broken and pry marks on the door. Inside,
Ms. Klinglesmith found her three kittens alive and unharmed
inside the refrigerator and noticed nothing else amiss. Believing
her home may have been entered by a person known to her and
fearing further harassment, Ms. Klinglesmith declined to pursue
the matter further (1020).
On 12 Jun 06 Terry McAlarney, age 48, 5195
Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, reported his neighbor drove through
his yard, spun his tires and did doughnuts, causing damage
to the lawn. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 12 Jun 06 Holly Watson, 2180 Glendale Road,
Marietta, reported she was awakened by her barking dogs at
5 am, at which time she believes an unknown suspect(s) entered
her locked guest house and stole a leaf blower, a power saw,
a weed eater and other miscellaneous tools. This case remains
under investigation (1097).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Lillie Belle Singer, age 46, 11827 State Route 555, Cutler,
for failing to confine or restrain a dog, a misdemeanor. Singer
was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 Jun 06 at 12:20 am.
Timothy Wayne Snyder, age 25, 3543 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Snyder
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Jun 06 at 1:30
pm.
Susanne Beth Luke, age 43, 621 Virginia Street, Marietta,
for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. Luke was arrested on State
Route 7 in Reno by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 12 Jun 06 at 11:30 pm.
