On 9 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Tornes requested
seven warrants for Amanda Sparks, age 18, last known address
832 Front Street Apt. A, Marietta, for passing bad checks.
Between 24 Mar and 3 Apr 06, Ms. Sparks allegedly issued seven
checks totaling $356.87 to Rentway on an account that was either
closed or had insufficient funds.
On 9 Jun 06 Deputy Sheriff Tornes requested
eleven warrants for Amber Sparks, age 26, last known address
313 Franklin Street , Marietta, for passing bad checks. Between
22 Mar and 3 Apr 06, Ms. Sparks allegedly issued he eleven
checks totaling $316.69 to Rentway to purchase cellular phone
minutes using an account that was closed.
On 9 Jun 06 an employee of Ohio Valley Memorial,
27580 State Route 7, Marietta, reported sometime during the
previous evening an unknown suspect(s) used a piece of granite
to break the padlock off a storage building and stole a spud
bar, miscellaneous tools, yard sticks and a roll of string
before placing the padlock back on the door. This case remains
under investigation (792).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Michael Dion Cross Sr., age 36, 1757 Wakefield Drive, Akron,
for forgery, a felony. Cross was picked up at the Belmont Correctional
Facility by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Jun 06 at 11:40 am.
David John Adams, age 31, 120 Berry Lane, Marietta, for a
felony charge of burglary and misdemeanor charges of nonsupport
of dependant and violating the terms of his probation. Adams
was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy
Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 9 Jun 06 at 12:00 pm.
James Lee Hearn, age 61, 602 Front Street Apt. 2, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hearn
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Jun 06 at 3:30 pm.
Lisa Dianne Pfalzgraf, age 34, 1608 Gihon Road, Parkersburg,
for speeding, driving under a suspended license, possession
of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.
Pfalzgraf was arrested near milepost three on US 50 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Jun 06 at 7:44 pm.
John Lloyd Kast III, age 39, HC 77 Box 177, Ballard, WV, for
operating with an expired license and for not wearing a seat
belt. Kast was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 9 Jun 06 at 10:30 pm.
Shane Michael Hardie, age 30, 761 Buckeye Avenue, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hardie
was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Arbaugh of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Jun 06 at 11:25 pm.
