On 30 May 06 Larry F. Petkovsek, age 72, 15063
Columbine Avenue, Cleveland, reported sometime since he last
visited his hunting cabin on Baker Run Road on 18 May, it appears
that more than one suspect broke in through a window and made
themselves at home. Mr. Petkovsek noted that during the time
the suspects remained in his cabin they cooked food over an
open fire and stole two shovels and two aluminum folding chairs.
This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 30 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans investigated
a claim of domestic violence made by an eleven year old Marietta
resident. Despite the juvenile’s assertion that his mother
pushed him down and kicked him, Deputy Evans concluded the
juvenile’s injuries were caused when he fell while a
attempting to avoid being disciplined by his mother.
On 30 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole assisted
Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department in
apprehending the suspect involved in a robbery at Walmart in
Athens. The officers located and arrested the suspect on US
50 near Farson Street and held her pending notification of
the Athens City Police Department.
On 30 May 06 Carl Crouser, age 57, 2665 Blue
Knob Road, Marietta, reported while he and his wife were on
holiday between 22 and 27 May 06, his Bolens lawn tractor was
stolen from underneath a tarp beside his trailer. This case
remains under investigation (1090).

Justin Daniel Deems, age 26, 18155 State Route
550, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony.
Deems was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Lt. Coppernoll
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 11:25 am.
Jessie Mae Morrison, age 29, 848 Greene Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Morrison
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 12:00
pm.
Michael Joe Cremeans, age 32, 41791 Pomeroy Pike Road, Pomeroy,
for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Cremeans was picked
up in Meigs County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 3:45 pm.
Jesse David Patterson, age 19, 104 Brandy Drive, Reno, for
robbery, a felony. Patterson was picked up at the Ross Correctional
Institute by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 3:45 pm.
Curtis Scott McGregor, age 27, 115 Holiday Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. McGregor
was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Lt. Seevers of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 4:20 pm.
Sharon Ann Tingler, age 50, 1111 24th Street, Parkersburg,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Tingler
was arrested on Clement Avenue in Belpre by Patrolman Williams
of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 7:08 pm.
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 24, 2716 State Route 7, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Stevens
was arrested on Waterford Road by Probation Officer Farrell
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06
at 7:34 pm.
Sarah Marie File, age 19, Route 2 Box 197, Mineral Wells,
for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. File was
arrested in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 May 06 at 8:35 pm.
Zachary Shawn McCroskey, age 23, Route 2 Box 197, Mineral
Wells, for driving under a suspended license and speeding,
both misdemeanors. McCroskey was arrested in Belpre by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 May 06 at 9:10 pm.
