On 25 May 06 Detective Parks arrested Jacqueline S. Murray, age 44, 1117 Nutana Boulevard, Mount Morris, MI, for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Murray was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Interstate 77 for following another vehicle too closely when she was questioned on the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Patrolman Hickey’s canine indicated the presence of drugs, which Ms. Murray said included a marijuana joint in her purse as well as rolling papers and a bag of marijuana in her duffel bag in the trunk.

On 25 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Simmons was dispatched to the scene of an assault at 341 Mechanic Street, Macksburg. The home’s resident, Gale Pierpoint, age 60, stated he was sleeping when he was awakened by knocks on his door. Mr. Pierpoint observed his ex-wife and former stepson Ronnie D. Goad, age 32, 7170 State Route 60, Lowell, and ordered them to leave his property due to a prior encounter with Mr. Goad. As his ex-wife returned to her vehicle, Mr. Pierpoint stated Mr. Goad kicked in his locked door and attacked him. Able to shield all but one of the kicks to his face after he fell to the floor, Mr. Pierpoint received a punch in the jaw and a scolding during Mr. Goad’s tirade. Deputy Simmons located Mr. Goad at his residence, arrested him for aggravated burglary and assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Charles B. Davis, age 31, 145 Turkey Knob Road, Newport, for an act of domestic violence committed on 13 May 06.

Robert Hill, age 31, 5501 State Route 60, McConnelsville, for driving under a suspended license, failing to stop at a stop sign and not wearing a seat belt.

Amber L. Sparks, age 26, 313 Franklin Street, Marietta, for failing to appear for pretrial on 18 May 06.

Michael A. Trent, age 36, 124 Dean Street, Marietta for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 8 May 06.

Kenneth Reyes, age 22, Stiers Road, Waterford, for violating the terms of his probation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Billy Allen Babcock, age 29, 516 ½ Third Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Babcock was arrested at a residence on Cornerville Road by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 12:05 am.

Joshua Cleveland Sinkfield, age 34, 1202 County House Lane Apt. H, Marietta, for two counts of driving under a suspended license, OVI and for having an open container of alcohol, all misdemeanors. Sinkfield was arrested on Scammel Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 5:10 am.

Ronnie Daniel Goad, age 31 7170 State Route 60, Lowell, for a felony charge of aggravated burglary and a misdemeanor charge of assault. Goad was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 6:45 am.

Murray was arrested on Interstate 77 by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 12:45 pm.

Stephen Douglas Dickinson, age 48, 3740 State Route 26, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Dickinson was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 2:25 pm.

Lamont Walter Haywood, age 28, 1889 Marshall Avenue, Huntington, for felony charges of failure to appear and trafficking in drugs and misdemeanor charges of driving under an FRA suspended license and following too closely. Haywood was arrested on Interstate 77 by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 2:30 pm.

Brandon Paul Lincoln, age 20, 309 Lord Street, Marietta, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Lincoln was picked up at the Ross Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 3:30 pm.

Carol Lois Haught, age 43, 717 Quarry Street, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested on Barber Street in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 3:40 pm.

James Anthony Haney, age 23, 541 Emily Drive, Zanesville, for assault and domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Haney was arrested on Colonial Drive in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 6:58 pm.

Steven Craig Casto, age 26, 804 Elm Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Casto was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Fields of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 10:30 pm.

Aaron Joseph Streight, age 27, 100 Grand Avenue, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Streight was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 May 06 at 11:41 pm.
