On 22 May 06 the owner of Vertex Services,
28165 State Route 7, Marietta, reported over the weekend, two
250 foot rolls of electrical wiring were stolen from the construction
site of Big 4 Motorsports on State Route 7. This case remains
under investigation (1299).
On 22 May 06 Robert L. Yoho, age 43, 960 Cats
Creek Road, Lowell, reported he believes that an acquaintance
stole a Norinco 9 mm handgun from his residence at some point
since the first of the year. This case remains under investigation
(1299).
On 22 May 06 Sgt. Gherke issued a citation
to Marshall R. Boyles, age 23, 2211 23rd Street, Parkersburg,
for driving under a suspended license. Sgt. Gherke stopped
Mr. Boyles on School House Road near Wood Drive in Belpre Township.
On 22 May 06 Timmy L. Smith II, age 26, 55
Dugan Road, Belpre, reported when he returned home for work
that evening his front door was ajar and the interior of the
home was in disarray. Items he reported missing from him and
his roommate are: an HP computer, a twenty gauge shotgun, a
checkbook and numerous old coins. This case remains under investigation
(1090).
On 22 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole was
dispatched to a home in Fleming after a thirty-five year old
resident reported difficulty in correcting the behavior of
her twelve and fifteen year old sons. The mother stated her
sons are stealing her cigarettes, smoking, continuously fighting,
disrespectful and have damaged a number of items in their home.
In consequence, Deputy Stackpole requested summonses for the
juveniles for being unruly and delinquent.

Office received the following warrants:
Jody Anderson, age 22, 542 Westview Drive,
for failing to appear for a hearing on 15 May 06.
Timothy Triplett, age 32, 58620 State Route 124, Portland,
OH, for failing to appear for a hearing on 15 May 06.
Charles E. Thomas Jr., age 36, 17977 State Route 26, Reno,
for failing to appear for a hearing on 15 May 06.
Mark D. Heitzenrader, age 23, 307 1/2 Fourth Street, Belpre,
for failing to appear for a hearing on 15 May 06.
William L. Price, age 47, 1037 Columbus Avenue, Barberton,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $90.80.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Angelo Miguel Santos, age 35, Lima, OH, for
complicity in pandering obscenity involving a minor and attempted
illegal use of a minor in nudity, both felonies. Santos was
picked up at the Allen Correctional Facility by Deputy Sheriff
Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May
06 at 5:30 pm.
James Joseph O’Connell, age 48, 514 Front Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. O’Connell
was arrested on St Marys Avenue by Probation Officer Smith
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 06
at 5:43 pm.
