On 17 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole requested
a summons for two thirteen year old Belpre residents to appear
in Juvenile Court for being delinquent. The juveniles are accused
of entering a home of their friend without permission and stealing
an mp3 player and over $400 in cash on 14 Apr 06.
On 17 May 06 Lt. Huffer arrested John M. Langmeyer,
age 32, 140 Franklin Street, Marietta, for OVI and for driving
under a license suspended for a prior OVI conviction. Mr. Langmeyer
admitted consuming alcohol earlier that afternoon and performed
poorly on field sobriety tests.
On 17 May 06 Glenn Nichols, age 60, 9391 Veto
Road, Belpre, reported when he and his wife returned home from
a two and a half week holiday they noticed several items in
their home out of place and over $100 worth of old silver nickels
missing. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 17 May 06 Tracy Williams, age 24, 1324
Colonial Drive, Marietta, reported her husband Glenn, age 30,
480 Harriett Street, Macksburg, assaulted her and her sister
Kimberly Brown, age 24, as the two exited the Dairy Mart on
State Route 821 in Macksburg. Mrs. Williams stated her husband
dismounted the motorcycle he was riding, nudged Ms. Brown in
the upper body and spat in her face. Mr. Williams left on his
motorcycle only to return moments later and began yelling at
his wife. He proceeded to then grab Mrs. Williams by the neck
and push her onto the hood of a parked car and reared his fist
back into a striking posture, though he did not hit his wife.
Because Mr. Williams was not on the scene when Deputy Sheriff
Day arrived, Deputy Day requested warrants for him for domestic
violence and disorderly conduct.
On 17 May 06 William O. Dunn III, age 20,
23 First Drive, New Matamoras, reported a female with a gun
threatened him and two of his friends while the three took
a break from playing video games that morning. Standing on
the front porch of the home, Mr. Dunn observed Jessica D. Beaver,
age 23, PO Box 153, New Matamoras, drive up to the home and
exit her vehicle. Ms. Beaver produced a gun, pointed it toward
the porch and while the three victims sought cover, threatened
to kill them if they had a problem with her husband. Ms. Beaver
left the scene but was later arrested for three counts of aggravated
menacing and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Shontika R. Armstrong, age 27, 5511 Keyway
Boulevard Apt. H, Charlotte, NC, for contempt for failing to
appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum
of $141.50.
Tammy M. Kirk, age 40, PO Box 3061, Parkersburg, for failing
to appear for a Debtor’s Exam on 6 Jan 06.
Christopher Robinson, age 23, 767 Buckeye Avenue, Marietta,
for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam on 7 Apr 06.
Dianne Smith, age 48, 736 Greene Street Apt. 8, Marietta,
for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam on 7 Apr 06.
Candace Wamsley, age 41, 217 Randolph Street, Buckhannon,
WV, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam on 7 Apr
06.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Paula Jean Jackson, age 19, 1985 Roberts Road,
Amesville, for breach of recognizance and failure to appear,
both felonies. Jackson was picked up at the Zanesville Police
Department by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 17 May 06 at 3:45 pm.
John Millard Langmeyer, age 32, 140 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for OVI and driving under an OVI suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Langmeyer was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by Lt.
Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 06 at 4:00
pm.
Homer Hendrix III, age 33, 1001 12th Avenue, Vienna, for a
felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge
of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines.
Hendrix was arrested at Hillsboro Trailer Park by Lt. Wilson
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 06 at 7:55 pm.
Helena Denise Riggs, age 32, 300 Starlite Drive Lot 7, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Riggs was arrested at Hillsboro Trailer
Park by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17
May 06 at 7:55 pm.
Clifford Dale Butler, age 35, 307 Poplar Street, St Marys,
for following too closely and driving under a suspended license,
both misdemeanors. Butler was arrested on State Route 7 by
Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 May 06 at 8:18 pm.
Jessica Dawn Beaver, age 23, PO Box 153, New Matamoras, for
three misdemeanor counts of aggravated menacing. Beaver was
arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 06 at 11:10 pm.
