On 15 May 06 a thirty-five year old Fleming
resident reported having difficulties with her twelve year
old son while she drove him to school and again after he returned
home. While en route to school, the mother stated her son began
swearing, throwing things and damaged the interior of her car.
Once home, the juvenile responded to a request to do the dishes
by kicking a hole in the hallway. Therefore Deputy Sheriff
Stackpole requested a summons for the teenager to appear in
Juvenile Court for being unruly.
On 15 May 06 Teresa L. Sewell, age 34, 1501
Barth Road, Belpre, reported a weedeater, three drills, drill
bits, assorted Craftsman tools and a chainsaw were stolen from
a locked storage building at her former residence on Reed Road.
This case remains under investigation (1020).
On 15 May 06 an employee of Rent Way, 1001
Pike Street Suite 1, Marietta, reported receiving eighteen
bad checks totaling $672.67 between 22 Mar and 3 Apr 06. The
two suspects allegedly wrote the checks on a closed Wesbanco
account and used the funds to purchase minutes for a cellular
phone previously rented from the business. This case remains
under investigation (8411).
On 15 May 06 Brenda Siley, age 43, 1665 Wynncrest
Drive, Marietta, reported during the previous night an eight
foot aluminum ladder a Stihl chainsaw and a 2.5 gallon gas
can were stolen from her closed garage. This case remains under
investigation (1090).

Donald Pitts Jr., age 34, 631 NE 12th Street,
Homestead, FL, for hunting without a special deer permit on
30 Dec 05.
David L. Perine, age 21, Williams Avenue Lot 44A, New Matamoras,
for failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 17 Mar
06.
Donald E. Stevens Jr., age 22, 329 South Eighth Street, Cambridge,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 27 Apr 06.
Ryan L. Adams, age 19, 801 Pomeroy Avenue, Belpre, for fishing
in Veto Lake without a license on 19 Apr 06.
David H. Harper, age 38, 34 Shawnee Trailer Court, Boaz, for
acting in contempt of a court order on 13 Aug 03.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
John Dinisio Demoya Sr., age 22, 695 Hillcrest Drive, Maysville,
KY, for OVI and not using headlights, both misdemeanors. Demoya
was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 15 May 06 at 3:29 am.
Nelson Douglas Lewis, age 38, 108 Berry Lane, Marietta, for
receiving stolen property and forgery, both felonies. Lewis
was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 May 06 at 9:20 am.
Sheila Marie Thomas, age 39, 5973 Lakepoint Street, Detroit,
MI, for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Thomas was arrested on Interstate 77 by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 15 May 06 at 9:50 am.
Pamela Louise Hill, age 45, 731 Sycamore Street
Apt. 200D, Belpre, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Hill was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 15 May 06 at 9:40 am.
James Grimm Janes Sr., age 55, Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Janes was arrested at Marietta Memorial
Hospital by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 15 May 06 at 5:15 pm.
Brian Albert O’Connor Sr., age 41, 209 Walnut Street,
Belpre, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. O’Connor
was arrested at the Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Summers and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 May 06 at 5:17
pm.
