On 13 May 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Billie H. Tucker, age 25, 780 Greene Street, Marietta, for
driving under an FRA suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped
Ms. Tucker at the intersection of Third and Washington Streets
in Marietta.
On 13 May 06 Rebecca J. Dennewitz, age 41,
38 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking, reported feeling in fear
for her safety from her live-in boyfriend of twenty-four years,
Kelly J. Bollinger. Both were arguing over family issues when
Ms. Dennewitz alleges Mr. Bollinger stood up and stated he
was going to beat her. Ms. Dennewitz informed Deputy Sheriff
Mankins the only reason she escaped injury was due to a friend
intervening and restraining Mr. Bollinger. In consequence,
Deputy Mankins arrested Mr. Bollinger for domestic violence
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 13 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Heather Ullinsky, age 20, 91250 Yager Road, Dennison,
OH, for operating with expired tags. Deputy Mankins stopped
Ms. Ullinsky on State Route 7 at US 50 in Belpre Township.
On 13 May 06 Tammy Oakley, age 27, Route 2
Box 52, Walker, WV, reported while she slept on the couch at
a friend’s house on Coal Run Road in Marietta on 10 May
06, another guest at the residence allegedly stole $650 from
her purse. This case remains under investigation (1299).
On 13 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 145 Turkey Knob Road,
Newport. Meredith A. McKnight, age 27, stated an argument began
when her live-in boyfriend Charles B. Davis, age 31, threw
a tantrum because she did not get him a birthday cake the previous
day. Mr. Davis commenced throwing his girlfriend out of her
chair, dragging her by the shirt into the kitchen, choking
her and slamming her head into a kitchen cabinet before releasing
his grasp. He then fled the scene in Ms. McKnight’s black
Ford Escort. As a result, Deputy Norman requested a warrant
for Mr. Davis for domestic violence.
On 13 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Gary L. Pellegrino, age 52, 7330 Joseph Drive,
Solon, OH, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Mankins
stopped Mr. Pellegrino on State Route 7 at Joe Skinner Road
in Dunham Township.
On 13 May 06 Daniel L. Winstanley Jr., age
30, 112 King Avenue, Marietta, reported being assaulted at
a residence on Ferncliff Drive. Enjoying himself following
the conclusion of the previous evening’s race, Mr. Winstanley
stated the girlfriend of Tyrone A. Taylor, age 41, 250 Ferncliff
Drive, Marietta, jokingly jumped into his arms. This behavior
infuriated Mr. Taylor, for he began shoving other guests and
forced Mr. Winstanley to hide in the bathroom until Mr. Taylor’s
temper quelled. Thereafter when he was in his truck about to
depart, Mr. Winstanley recalled Mr. Taylor opened the door,
grabbed his neck and choked him until subdued by guests at
the residence. Though he denied harming Mr. Winstanley, Mr.
Taylor was arrested for assault and transported to the Washington
County Jail.

Casey Lee Hoover, age 20, 708 Front Street Apt. 22, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hoover
was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Probation Officer
Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13
May 06 at 1:02 am.
Raymond Paul Riley, age 43, 400 Alderman Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Riley
was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Probation Officer
Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13
May 06 at 1:34 am.
Samuel Jarrett Nay, age 46, 1655 Michaelis Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Nay
was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Probation Officer
Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13
May 06 at 1:47 am.
Tyrone Anthony Taylor, age 41, 250 Ferncliff Drive, Marietta,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Taylor was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 May 06 at 5:15 am.
Mark Louis Warne, age 43, 101 City View Avenue, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Warne was arrested at his residence by
Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06
at 11:51 am.
Ernest Joab Fowler, age 41, 3197 48th Street, Cleveland, for
driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Fowler
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06
at 2:40 pm.
John Edward Duskey, age 29, 610 Main Street, Waterford, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Duskey
was arrested in Waterford by Probation Officer Ferrell and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06 at 7:34
pm.
Misty Sue Perry, age 22, 132 Greene Street Apt. D, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Perry
was arrested at her residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06
at 9:33 pm.
Jon Eric Preston, age 25, 1821 Washington Boulevard, Belpre,
for driving under a suspended license and having fictitious
plates, both misdemeanors. Preston was arrested in Belpre by
Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 May 06 at 10:53 pm.
Daniel Allen Taylor, age 20, 502 Ferguson Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Taylor
was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06
at 11:10 pm.
Sally Jane Heiss, age 34, 199 Culver Road, Waterford, for
violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Heiss
was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer Ketelsen and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 May 06 at 11:59
pm.
