On 11 May 06 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to Joseph E. Franckewitz, age 50, 736 Maranatha Way, Loveland, OH, for operating with plates that expired in Jan 06. Sgt. Underwood stopped Mr. Franckewitz on US 50 near Clement Avenue in Belpre.

On 11 May 06 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to Julia D. Ogden, age 47, 6400 Ellis Road, Stockport, for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Underwood stopped Ms. Ogden on State Route 339 at Veto Road in Dunham Township.

On 11 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole was dispatched to the scene of death of a seventy-two year old Lowell resident. Consulting the man’s physician, Deputy Stackpole determined the victim succumbed to cancer.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Cynthia K. Dailey, age 31, 1125 Greene Street, Marietta, for failing to appear for pretrial on 18 Apr 06.

Bernadette E. Frye, age 34, 5547 Walnut View Boulevard, Gahanna, OH, for failing to appear for pretrial on 18 Apr 06.

David S. McKee, age 30, 287 ½ North Algonquin Avenue, Columbus, for failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 7 Apr 06.

Garland Ritchey, age 29, 1900 27th Street Apt. A, Parkersburg, for failing to appear to serve five days in jail on 15 Jan 06.

Wayne E. Valentine, age 25, 305 Harmar Street, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve fifteen days in jail on 21 Apr 06.

Michael A. Miller, age 22, 613 Eighth Street Apt. 4, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay fines and costs in full by 9 Dec 05.

Jon E. Preston, age 25, 4814 15th Avenue, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay fines in full or to appear to serve five days in jail on 28 Mar 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Serena Lynnette Schilling, age 35, 415 Sixth Street Apt. A, Marietta, for OVI and driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Schilling was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 1:47 am.

Rex Allen Norman, age 25, Route 4 Box 66 Lot 15, Bluefield, WV, for driving under a suspended license, not wearing a seat belt and speeding, all misdemeanors. Norman was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 3:45 am.

Kirk Thomas Benson, age 34, 9 Lodge Park Lane, Camden, TN, for wildlife violations, a felony. Benson was arrested along the Muskingum River by Officer Bear of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 8:32 am.

Larry Kevin Black, age 27, 591 Forrest Avenue Apt. C107, Camden, TN, for wildlife violations, a felony. Black was arrested at the Best Value Inn by Officer Bear of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 8:54 am.

Timmy Dale Rutheford, age 33, 1450 Eva Flatwoods Road, Eva, TN, for wildlife violations, a felony. Rutheford was arrested along the Muskingum River by Officer Bear of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 9:16 am.

Laura Ann Ketelsen, age 38, 711 Ninth Street, Marietta, for a felony and a misdemeanor charge of assault. Ketelsen was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 4:57 pm.

Dirk Edward Filon, age 21, 110 Knox Street Apt. 35, Marietta, for a felony charge of escape and misdemeanor charges of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, criminal damaging, theft, falsification and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Filon was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Gragan of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 May 06 at 8:07 pm.
