On 10 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued
a citation to Jack L. McNabb, age 41, 1165 Big Run Road, Lowell,
for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped
Mr. McNabb at milepost ten on State Route 339 in Barlow Township.
On 10 May 06 Sgt. Underwood was dispatched
to assist the Beverly-Waterford Emergency Squad in subduing
a combative patient at a residence on Waterford Road in Waterford.
The squad was treating the twenty-eight year old former Malta
resident for self-inflicted, superficial cuts to his wrists.
Of his own accord the patient calmed and agreed to be transported
to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment and evaluation.
On 10 May 06 Jacob C. Strode, age 23, 56 Ullman
Street, Beverly, struck a deer as he was traveling northbound
on State Route 60 near County Road 393. Mr. Strode’s
Toyota sustained functional damage; he reported no injuries
(1184).

Office received the following warrants:
Michael A. Pratt, age 38, 45 E Fourth Street,
The Plains, for driving under an FRA suspended license on 8
Apr 06.
Lionel J. Gore, age 19, 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment and by failing to complete a seventy-two
hour driver intervention program.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Bryce Davis, age 23, 416 Arnold Road,
Lowell, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Davis was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 10 May 06 at 3:00 pm.
Norman Dean Dunn, age 43, 85 Dunn Lane, New Matamoras, for
trafficking in drugs, a felony. Dunn was picked up at the Noble
Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 06 at 3:00
pm.
Lloyd Thomas Carver, age 61, 121 Gibbons Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Carver was arrested
on Captain Seely Drive in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 May 06 at 7:08 pm.
Norma Jean Preston, age 35, Washington Boulevard, Belpre,
for thee misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of her probation.
Preston was picked up in Belpre by Patrolman Chapman of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 May 06 at 10:11 pm.
Jon Eric Preston, age 25, 1821 Washington Boulevard Apt. 11,
Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Preston was picked up in Belpre
by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 06
at 10:35 pm.
Stephen Michael Cassell, age 26, 5611 Gender Road, Canal Winchester,
OH, for speeding, driving under an FRA suspended license and
violating license restrictions, all misdemeanors. Cassell was
arrested in Waterford by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 06 at 11:57
pm.
