On 9 May 06 a seventeen year old Fort Frye
High School student reported being assaulted by her stepmother
as they left the school parking lot in a vehicle. While en
route, Deputy Sheriff Rhodes was informed the victim escaped
the slow moving vehicle on foot and the suspect, Julie A. Ash,
age 30, Pennock Trailer Court, Beverly, drove home. Witness
statements confirm the victim’s claim that Ms. Ash and
her stepdaughter engaged in an argument in the vehicle when
Ms. Ash stopped, exited the car and entered the backseat where
the sixteen year old was seated. Ms. Ash then attempted to
restrain the juvenile and swung wildly at her face and chest.
In consequence, Deputy Rhodes arrested Ms. Ash for domestic
violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Christine G. Baker, age 24, 280 Indian Run
Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation by
failing to obey her curfew, failing to appear for counseling,
for failing to appear for drug court and for failing to make
restitution as ordered by the court.
Jill A. Flinn, age 31, 1702 ½ Seventh Street, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of her probation by failing to show
proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear
to serve three days in jail as ordered by the court.
Sherry L. Goodwin, age 29, 1100 Kanawha Avenue West, Charleston,
for violating the terms of her probation by failing to show
proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license as ordered
by the court.
Kimberly D. Holiday, age 38, 107 Grand Avenue, Marietta, for
violating the terms of her probation by failing to show proof
of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear
to serve seven days in jail as ordered by the court.
Peter Yu Wah Ng, age 20, 4011 Overland Trail, Kettering, OH,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear
to serve ten days in jail as ordered by the court.
Donna Thompson, age 33, 361 Spencer Road, Belpre, for breach
of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment on 14
Apr 06.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Julie Annette Ash, age 30, Pennock Trailer
Court, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Ash was
arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 May 06 at 6:10 pm.
Brittany Maria Martin, age 20, 126 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested at her residence
by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 May 06 at
11:25 pm.
