On 4 May 06 Detective Smithberger requested a summons for Nathaniel E. Coe, age 23, 125 Millers Lane Apt. C5, Marietta, for disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile. Detective Smithberger’s affidavit alleges that on 27 Apr 06 a nine year old girl viewed thirty seconds of a pornographic video in Mr. Coe’s presence and that he also showed the juvenile two nude pictures in a Playboy magazine.

On 4 May 06 Darci D. McIntyre, age 39, 836 Pike Street Apt. 2, Marietta, reported her newly filled prescription for clonazepam was stolen from her apartment between 7 and 11 pm the previous evening. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 4 May 06 Karen Richter, age 43, 338 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, reported the prescription medication she fills via mail order was lost between its origin and destination. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 4 May 06 Gina L. Batten, age 41, 11390 State Route 26, Marietta, reported when she retrieved her mail that afternoon she noticed several envelopes were opened. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 4 May 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Jimmy L. Martin, PO Box 355, Cottageville, OH, for having fictitious registration. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Martin on Gravel Bank Road at State Route 7 in Warren Township.

On 4 May 06 Lt. Wilson, Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff Norman responded to a burglary report at 240 Brackenridge Road in Vincent. Leeanna Stanley, age 18, stated when she returned to her home forty-five minutes after realizing she forgot a book for school, the home appeared ransacked and the shower was running. Under repeated questioning, Ms. Stanley admitted fabricating the story and placing the home in disarray.

On 4 May 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Earl W. Owens II, age 42, 718 Moore Avenue, Belpre, for operating with expired plates. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Owens in the 700 block of Third Street in Marietta.

On 4 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued a citation to Mindy S. Schwendeman, age 26, 214 Riverview Road, Lowell, for traveling 43 mph in a 20 mph school zone. Deputy Norman stopped Ms. Schwendeman on State Route 339 at Waterford Elementary School in Waterford Township.

On 4 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to David Wells, age 37, 52550 State Route 248, Long Bottom, for pulling a trailer without brake or tail lights. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Wells on State Route 7 at Pear Street in Pioneer Township.

On 4 May 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to Kevin G. Anderson, age 45, Route 1 Box 198C, Mineral Wells, for operating with an expired license. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Anderson on State Route 7 at Blue Knob Road in Warren Township.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

Ronald L. Stevens, age 36, 280 Leo Sams Road, for two counts of failing to appear for pretrial on 1 May 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Michael Deems, age 24, 507 Ferguson Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. Deems was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Probation Officer Gilchrist and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 06 at 2:00 am.

Chase Luther Simmons, age 20, 729 Eighth Street, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Simmons was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 06 at 2:00 am.

Mark Aaron McIntyre, age 24, 223 Broughton Avenue, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole and receiving stolen property, both felonies. McIntyre was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 06 at 3:10 am.

William Tim Bellville, age 52, 116 Walker Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Bellville was arrested at a residence on Franklin Street in Marietta by Detective Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 06 at 2:49 pm.

Jesse Scott Books, age 23, 1101 Colonial Drive, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Books was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 06 at 3:30 pm.
