On 27 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Malone issued
a citation to David L. Arnold, age 52, 6009 Rainbow Road, Lowell,
for failure to obey a traffic control device. Deputy Malone
stopped Mr. Arnold after he failed to stop at a stop sign at
the intersection of Muskingum River Road and Huck Road in Muskingum
Township.
On 27 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris was dispatched
to 125 Millers Lane Apt. 2C, Marietta, to investigate a domestic
violence complaint. The victim, Chase L. Simmons, age 20, 729
Eighth Street, Marietta, stated he was at the residence visiting
a female friend when the girlfriend he broke up with four days
ago appeared. Invited into the apartment to talk, Christina
R. Hines, age 35, 711 Ninth Street, Marietta, was immediately
overcome with jealous rage and became verbally abusive. She
commenced pushing Mr. Simmons around the apartment and clawing
at his shirt, face and neck. Ms. Hines clutched a knife from
the kitchen counter and swung wildly at Mr. Simmons, threatening
to stab him with each thrust of the blade. Without further
provocation Ms. Hines left the apartment, allowing Mr. Simmons
and two witnesses to regain their composure. Deputy Morris
later located and arrested Ms. Hines for felonious assault
and domestic violence and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 27 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Shawn N. Bonar, age 30, 134 Whipkey Drive, Waterford,
for operating with expired tags. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr.
Bonar in the 500 block of Echo Valley Road in Waterford Township.
On 27 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued
a citation to Dena B. James, age 39, 12913 Mogadore Avenue
NW, Uniontown, OH, for failure to obey a traffic control device.
Deputy Norman stopped Ms. James after she failed to stop at
a stop sign at the intersection of Huck and Waterford Roads
in Muskingum Township.
On 27 Apr 06 Detective Johnson began an investigation
into a fire at 13023 State Route 555, Cutler, a hunting cabin
owned by Jack Mason, age 72, 942 Pike Street, Belpre. Suspiciously,
Mr. Mason also reported a gas powered generator was missing
from the property.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jacob E. Mason, age 20, 50 Second Street,
Vincent, for driving under a suspended license on 5 Jan 06.
Chad R. Parsons, age 26, 6180 Waterford Road, Marietta, for
driving under an FRA suspended license on 30 Mar 06.
David S. McKee, age 30, 287 ½ Algonquin Avenue, Columbus,
for failing to appear to serve seven days in jail on 7 Apr
06.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Marlena Kay Glidden, age 44, 202 Bridge Street,
Caldwell, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor.
Glidden was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ketelsen
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Apr 06
at 10:30 am.
Christina Marie Hower, age 21, 15870 State Route 550, Fleming,
for two counts of theft, complicity in theft, breach of recognizance,
driving under a suspended license and not having license plates,
all misdemeanors. Hower turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff
Evans and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
27 Apr 06 at 2:29 pm.
