On 20 Apr 06 the manager of Sierra Apartments, 836 Pike Street, Marietta, reported a tenant he evicted from an apartment three months ago was living in a vacant apartment without permission. Deputy Sheriff Spencer arrived at the apartment complex and noticed pillows and blanket on the floor of the apartment in which Eric W. Morris, age 24, 80 Smith Drive, Marietta, was staying. As a result, Deputy Spencer arrested Mr. Morris for criminal trespassing and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 20 Apr 06 Betty Travis, age 67, 70 Killwell Run Road, Marietta, reported a 1988 Chevy S-10 belonging to her and her husband was stolen from their residence during the previous evening. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 20 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded to the scene of a disturbance at 195 Caywood Road, Marietta. Upon his arrival Deputy Mankins observed the suspect of the disturbance passed out on the ground, lying two feet from the roadway. Admittedly intoxicated, Jeremy R. Braun, age 21, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, was arrested for his safety for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 20 Apr 06 an employee of Shelly & Sands reported a stone concrete mixer was stolen from a job site in Macksburg between 17 and 20 Apr 06. This case remains under investigation (905).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Eric Wayne Morris, age 24, 80 Smith Drive, Marietta, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of criminal trespassing. Morris was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Apr 06 at 2:06 am.

Robert Matthew Parrish, age 29, Caldwell, for burglary, a felony. Parrish was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Apr 06 at 2:26 pm.

Jeremy Ray Braun, age 21, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Braun was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Apr 06 at 8:25 pm.

Timothy Aaron Jarvis, age 32, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 39, Beverly, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Jarvis was arrested on Sixth Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Apr 06 at 11:08 pm.
