On 9 Apr 06 Terry McAlarney, age 48, 5195 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, reported a neighbor he assumes is upset over his status as a sex offender, allegedly broke the Plexiglas headlight cover on his tractor and swung a shovel at his head. This case remains under investigation (684).

On 9 Apr 06 Gerald R. Erb, age 35, 229 Main Street, Lowell, reported a red mechanic’s toolbox containing miscellaneous tools was stolen from a locked box behind his camper at 4755 Waterford Road, Marietta. This case remains under investigation (1090).

The following individuals wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Clint Alan Apperson, age 19, 64 Elk Avenue, St Marys, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Apperson was arrested near milepost thirty-nine on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Apr 06 at 5:40 pm.
