On 8 Apr 06 Wendy A. Yenawine, age 30, 1835
McGill Road, Belpre, reported while she was away from her home
for five hours that evening her two eight month old pugs were
stolen from her gated rear porch. This case remains under investigation
(592).
On 8 Apr 06 Lt. Canavan began an investigation
into an incident of road rage reported by Michael A. Doak,
age 18, 4130 Sparling Road, Waterford. Mr. Doak stated he was
following a black demolition derby car on Lowell Hill Road
when the car pulled to the side and allowed him to pass. The
driver of the black vehicle then pulled in behind him and struck
the rear bumper of Mr. Doak’s vehicle as he turned onto
Muskingum River Road, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.
Backing up after initiating the collision, the driver of the
black vehicle fled the scene.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Matthew Allen Mayle, age 39, 1700 State Route 555, Cutler,
for OVI and driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Mayle
was arrested in Waterford by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Apr 06 at
2:45 am.
John David O’Brien Sr., age 50, 96 Main Street, Lower
Salem, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. O’Brien
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Apr 06 at 10:30
am.
Michael Anthony Pratt, age 38, 45 Fourth Street Apt. 2, Athens,
for driving under an FRA suspended license and for failure
to reinstate his license, both misdemeanors. Pratt was arrested
on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Apr 06 at 2:06 pm.
Jacob Edward Mason, age 20, 208 Scammel Street, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Mason was
arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Apr 06 at
4:50 pm.
Steven Wayne Rush, age 19, 108 Sunset Drive, Marietta, for
failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Rush turned himself in to
Corrections Officer Bichard and was processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Apr 06 at 7:10 pm.
