On 5 Apr 06 James F. Kittsmiller, age 35, 97 Maynard Drive, Little Hocking, reported when he arrived home from work at 3 pm that afternoon he noticed several items in his bedroom out of place and what appeared to be semen on a white shirt next to his bed. Mr. Kittsmiller and his wife stated no items are missing at this time and that the suspect may have entered the home through an unlocked side door. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 5 Apr 06 Lt. Coppernoll and Deputy Sheriff Spencer responded to a 911 call at 945 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent. The home’s resident, Karen N. Stantkiewicz, age 24, stated an individual began pounding on her door and broke through the chain to enter the residence. Once inside the male sat down and began playing a guitar. Not realizing it at first, Ms. Stantkiewicz noticed the perpetrator was an acquaintance of hers, Romen Z. Vandall, age 22, 124 Knox Street, Marietta. Under questioning by the Deputies, Mr. Vandall admitted breaking into the home because he was cold and had nowhere to go. Ms. Stantkiewicz did not desire to pursue charges but wanted Mr. Vandall removed from her home. At that point Mr. Vandall became combative due to his inebriation from alcohol and prescription drugs, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Leroy J. Clark, age 30, 306B Third Street, Lowell, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 27 Mar 06.

Charles W. Loy Jr., age 32, 815 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 27 Mar 06.

Jeffrey A. Theiss, age 28, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 16 Mar 06.

John J. Miller, age 47, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 20 Mar 06.

George R. Johnson, age 52, 39634 Ogles Ridge Road, Dexter City, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $955.50.

Ibby M. Martin, age 42, 11430 Hamley Run Road, Nelsonville, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $270.20.

Leroy Perine, age 44, 313 Cemetery Lane, Kimbolton, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $187.00.

Amy J. Richardson, age 21, 922 Grant Avenue Apt. A, Cambridge, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $206.50.

Brian K. Riser, age 26, 4616 Sixth Avenue, Vienna, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $174.00.

Garland Ritchey, age 29, 1900 27th Street Apt. A, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $637.45.

James R. Rodes, age 27, Route 1 Box 111B, Belleville, WV, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $549.40.

Justin M. Shepard, age 27, 170 West Pike Street, Clarksburg, WV, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $196.10.

Lorena A. Smith, age 28, 2409 Hanvey Avenue, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $502.90.

Natalie M. Stocker, age 22, 1347 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $154.50.

Robert B. Truelove, age 35, 1311 Hoover Place NW, Canton, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $133.70.

Mark L. Warne, age 43, 101 City View Road, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $582.40.

Bernard E. Yeater, age 47, 803 Maple Street, Zanesville, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $932.10.

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Melissa Sue Edgell, age 34, 911 Fourth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Edgell was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Farrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Apr 06 at 3:00 pm.
