On 2 Apr 06 Kari Krause, age 22, 4481 Buchanan
Road, Waterford, reported when she and her roommate returned
to their home after being away for five hours, they observed
damage to the front door of the trailer and splinters of wood
on the porch. At this time Ms. Krause believes nothing is missing
from in the home. This case remains under investigation (500).
On 2 Apr 06 Tyson Bonnette, age 19, 374 Barrett-South
Road, Vincent, reported the owner of the property neighboring
that on which he rode his ATV that day, allegedly assaulted
him at Par Mar in Barlow around 4 pm in the afternoon. This
case remains under investigation (586).
On 2 Apr 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole conducted
a traffic stop after observing the driver of a Chevy Tahoe
drive off the road and over the curb of Virginia Street. Speaking
to the driver, Patricia A. LaFrance, age 51, 145 State Route
7, Marietta, Deputy Stackpole noticed a moderate odor of alcohol
and requested Ms. LaFrance perform field sobriety tests. Ms.
LaFrance complied with the request and Deputy Stackpole observed
her use the vehicle to balance as she walked to the front of
his patrol car. Following her poor performance on the field
sobriety tests, Deputy Stackpole arrested Ms. LaFrance for
OVI and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Apr 06 Bonnie O’Brien, age 47,
343 Main Street, Lower Salem, reported while her daughter visited
her home that afternoon, her daughter’s estranged husband
Terry A. Waterman, age 33, 785 Rummer Road, Marietta, telephoned
her residence in violation of a protection order. Under house
arrest while placing the call, Mr. Waterman threatened his
wife as well as the couple’s twelve year old son. After
listening to a recording of the call made by Ms. O’Brien,
Detective Johnson requested a summons for Mr. Waterman for
violating the terms of a protection order.
On 2 Apr 06 Benjamin D. Arnold, age 25, reported
his brown leather wallet containing his driver’s license
and two bank cards was stolen from atop a rock on the west
side of Devol’s Dam that afternoon. This case remains
under investigation (953).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Patricia Ann Lafrance, age 51, 145 State Route 7, Marietta,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Lafrance was arrested in Marietta by
Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 1:14 am.
John Wayne Luke, age 44, 717 Quarry Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Luke was
arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 3:56 am.
Joseph David Williams, age 49, 2908 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 5:10 pm.
Debora Kay Williams, age 47, 2908 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Williams turned herself
in to Corrections Officer Bichard and was processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 7:20 pm.
Michael Pierre Samuels, age 48, 710 Ninth Street, Marietta,
for failing to require his dog to wear tags, a misdemeanor.
Samuels was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 8:25 pm.
Terry Anthony Waterman, age 33, 785 Rummer Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of a protection order, a felony. Waterman
was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 2 Apr 06 at 10:15 pm.
