On 30 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle with an inoperable license plate
light and for making a u-turn at the intersection of Glendale
and Stanleyville Road. The driver, Allan D. Allman, age 47,
2670 Glendale Road, Marietta, pulled into his driveway where
Deputy Evans made contact. Detecting an odor of alcohol on
Mr. Allman, Deputy Evans administered field sobriety tests.
Following Mr. Allman’s poor performance on the tests,
Deputy Evans arrested him for OVI and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.

Redgie L. Cline, age 18, 511 Ferguson Street,
Marietta, for littering along Cow Run Road on 6 Jan 06.
Howard N. Derenberger, age 27, 1435 Coal Run Road, Marietta,
for littering near the 1.5 mile marker on Turkey Hollow Road
on 25 Dec 05.
Terry L. Hupp, age 52, 522 ½ Second Street, Marietta,
for OVI, speeding and driving under a suspended license on
8 Mar 06.
Shawn E. Leasure, age 28, 413 South 12th Street, Cambridge,
for passing two bad checks totaling $59.84 to the Alibi Carryout
on 9 Nov 05.
Argle F. Mayle, age 45, 38 Suzanne Street, Little Hocking,
for failing to appear to serve thirty days in jail on 16 Jan
06.
Roy A. Miller, age 23, 100 Chester Lane, Gambier, OH, for
speeding, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle
and possession of drug paraphernalia on 28 Feb 06.
Michael P. Samuels, age 48, 710 Ninth Street, Marietta, for
failing to require his dog to wear a dog tag on 28 Dec 05.
Aaron J. Smith, age 24, 775 Turkey Hollow Road, Cutler, for
driving under a suspended license and speeding on 18 Mar 06.
Amber L. Sparks, age 25, 313 Franklin Street, Marietta, for
failing to appear for trial on 2 Sep 05.
Lorna L. Stradley, age 46, 209 Decrow Avenue Apt. B, Newark,
OH, for driving under a suspended and expired license on 20
Feb 06.
The following individual
wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:
Angela Jo Armstrong, age 43, 212 Maple Street,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Armstrong was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Mar 06 at 2:30 am.
