On 26 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded
to the scene of the death of a seventy-one year old Fleming
resident. No foul play is suspected; the cause of death appears
to be natural.
On 26 Mar 06, while en route to a call concerning
a male and female arguing, Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff Stackpole
were informed the male suspect retrieved a gun. Witnesses stated
Bryan J. Williams, age 24, 2910 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
became distraught after the argument with his girlfriend and
threatened to shoot himself with a .30 caliber rifle. Appearing
under the influence of alcohol as he spoke to Deputy Stackpole,
Mr. Williams admitted the facts under stipulation by the witnesses.
As a result, Deputy Stackpole arrested Mr. Williams for using
a weapon while intoxicated and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Gregory Alan Wright, age 56, 2390 State Route 266, Stockport,
for OVI and driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both
misdemeanors. Wright was arrested in Beverly by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 26 Mar 06 at 2:12 am.
Bryan Joseph Williams, age 24, 2910 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for using a weapon while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Williams
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Mar 06 at 2:56
am.
Jerry Lee Slonaker, age 55, 404 Second Street, New Matamoras,
for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor
charges of littering from a vehicle, possession of drugs, possession
of drug paraphernalia and having illegal window tint. Slonaker
was arrested in Beavertown by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Mar 06
at 3:28 am.
