On 21 Mar 06 Michael B. Fleming, age 41, 840
Pike Street Apt. 41, Marietta, reported while he visited a
neighbor for a short period of time, he believes another neighbor
entered his apartment and stole a jar full of change and his
wallet. Two days later Mr. Fleming determined two checks from
his checkbook were also missing and were used to make purchases
at local businesses totaling over $800. This case remains under
investigation (200).
On 21 Mar 06 Lora M. Smith, age 54, 10100
State Route 339, Vincent, reported $500 in cash was stolen
from her home. Mrs. Smith stated during a Kirby sweeper demonstration
one of five salespersons retrieved himself a glass of water
from her kitchen and noticed a sandwich bag of cash in the
freezer door. Two salesmen returned later that afternoon, during
which time Ms. Smith says the cash went missing. This case
remains under investigation (592).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Robert Shaw, age 23, 315 Seventh Street,
Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and speeding,
both misdemeanors. Shaw was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Mar 06 at 2:50 am.
Dana Britton Curry, age 33, 1005 State Route
555, Little Hocking, for failure to appear, a felony. Curry
turned himself in to Corrections Officer Carr and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 06 at 1:02 pm.
Jeremy Ray Braun, age 21, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for
failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Braun was arrested on State
Route 26 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Mar 06 at 2:46 pm.
Shane Lee Goins, age 29, 464 Moxahala Avenue,
Zanesville, for felony charges of possession of drugs and illegally
conveying
items into a detention facility and a misdemeanor charge of
disorderly conduct by intoxication. Goins was arrested on State
Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Mar 06 at 5:24 pm.
Ronald Lee Stevens, age 36, 280 Leo Sams Lane, Chesterhill,
for felony charges of possession of drugs and trafficking in
drugs as well as misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and
driving under an OVI suspended license. Stevens was arrested
on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 21 Mar 06 at 6:41 pm.
