On 20 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to James H. Hill, age 47, 115 Hendricks Street, Newport, for traveling 69 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Hill on State Route 7 north of Newells Run Road in Newport Township.

On 20 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Christopher L. Leek, age 19, 136 Wark Street, Paden City, WV, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Leek on State Route 7 near Willow Island in Newport Township.

On 20 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Jeremy T. Grimes, age 18, Route 2 Box 286, New Martinsville, WV, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Grimes on State Route 7 near Willow Island in Newport Township.

On 20 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to Bruce E. Damron, age 45, 4106 Pattonsville Road, Jackson, OH, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Damron on State Route 7 near River Trail in Independence Township.

On 20 Mar 06 an employee of Hurst Tractor Sales, 1200 Pike Street, Marietta, reported sometime over the weekend an unknown suspect cut the chain and lock of a gate and stole a forty-two inch Rotomec tiller. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 20 Mar 06 Christopher K. Schneider, age 44, 1579 Lucks Drive, Reynoldsburg, OH, reported at some point during the past week two subjects stole a satellite dish, two forty-two inch Craftsman lawnmowers, three weed eaters, miscellaneous scrap aluminum and fencing from his former residence at 107 Haas Drive in Stockport. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 20 Mar 06 Margie S. Phillips, age 59, 20689 State Route 676, Marietta, reported her Citgo credit card was stolen approximately nine days ago and used several times, accruing charges in excess of $750. This case remains under investigation (1020).

Christopher R. Ball, age 26, 54749 New Portland Road, Portland, OH, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $334.50.

David B. Barrett, age 44, 2504 Indianola Avenue, Columbus, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $527.60.

Ira D. Blair, age 21, 65 Beardsley Road, Lowell, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $473.00.

Stanley E. Bowers, age 27, 511 Main Street, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $242.90.

Terry G. Bowlin, age 37, 5020 Tucker Avenue, Kannapolig, NC, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $317.00.

Carla Y. Clark, age 21, 500F Barclay Street, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $824.00.

Jennifer L. Dixon, age 20, 25 Starling Drive, St Marys, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $174.00.

Gretchen M. Graham, age 53, 1921 Seventh Street, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $252.00.

Wayland Hendrichsen, age 63, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $174.00.

David M. Hill, age 26, 2409 Hanvey Street, Belpre, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $115.50.

Norma C. Preston, age 35, 4814 15th Avenue, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to make regular fine payments and for failing to show proof of making restitution as ordered by the court.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert Matthew Parrish, age 29, Caldwell, for burglary, a felony. Parrish was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Mar 06 at 10:55 am.

Sherri Lee Shank, age 40, 124 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 3A, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and failure to control, both misdemeanors. Shank was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Mar 06 at 2:00 pm.

Jason Ray Luke, age 23, Harmar Street, Marietta, for felony charges of breach of recognizance, failure to appear and violating the terms of his probation as well as misdemeanor charges of violating the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Luke was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Mar 06 at 3:25 pm.

Maxwell Eugene Lassiter, age 38, 945 Lancaster Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Lassiter was arrested on Lancaster Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Mar 06 at 4:00 pm.
