On 15 Mar 06 Violet M. Sparks, age 83, 7210 Archers Fork Road, Newport, reported two men who claimed they were window salesmen barged into her home and began taking measurements. When the men left Ms. Sparks stated nothing appeared absent but upon further inspection she noticed $700 missing from her purse. Ms. Sparks declined to pursue the matter, only wishing to note the incident for future reference (292).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Joshua Allen Danku, age 24, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Danku was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Mar 06 at 1:30 am.

Donna Marie Torbert, age 32, 610 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Torbert was arrested at the Four Seasons by Probation Officer Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Mar 06 at 5:00 pm.
