On 13 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks encountered
a vehicle at the American Car Crusher for which the Morgan
County Sheriff’s Office requested local law enforcement
agencies be alert. Morgan County officials believe the suspect,
James V. Taylor, age 43, 3770 Upper Douda Road, Malta, stole
a white Camaro and was towing the vehicle to the car crusher.
Conducting a traffic stop, Deputy Parks arrested Mr. Taylor
for driving under a suspended license and for having fictitious
registration and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
Mr. Taylor is being held pending additional charges being filed
in Morgan County.
On 13 Mar 06 Misty D. Little, age 22, 550
Archers Fork Road, New Matamoras, reported when she arrived
at her home at 1 pm that afternoon she heard a loud bang then
observed to unknown male subjects exit through her garage and
disappear into the woods. Ms. Little stated at this time no
items appear to be missing from her home. This case remains
under investigation (1020).
On 13 Mar 06 an employee of Highland Ridge
Water, 1330 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, reported a six by
teen foot aluminum utility trailer was stolen from the business
between 10 am on 12 Mar and 7:30 am that morning. This case
remains under investigation (1020).

Nathan Corey Strickler, age 18, 88 High Street,
Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation.
Ronald J. Clatterbuck, age 42, PO Box 533, New Matamoras,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on an order to show cause on 22 Dec 05.
Daniel Lee Barber, age 18, 243 BR 681, Reedsville, OH, for
operating without a license on 4 Jan 06.
Joseph E. Bohl, age 39, 2785 Post Box Road, Newcomerstown,
OH, for failing to appear to serve fifty-seven days in jail
on 1 Mar 06.
Jeremy R. Braun, age 21, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for failing
to appear to serve three days in jail on 1 Mar 06.
Corey J. Hartline, age 22, 305 Burt Street, Sistersville,
for telecommunications harassment on 21 Feb 06.
Patrick E. Hupp, age 48, Webster’s Trailer Park Lot
2, Beverly, for two counts of receiving stolen property on
17 Feb 06.
Nelson D. Lewis, age 38, 108 Berry Lane, Marietta, for receiving
stolen property and uttering on 12 Jan 06.
Michael R. Martin, age 49, 10776 Featherstone Road, Stewart,
for aggravated menacing on 18 Jan 06.
Bernard E. Yeater Jr., age 46, 803 Maple Street, Zanesville,
for failing to appear to serve eighty-two days in jail on 28
Feb 06.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Victor Taylor, age 43, 3770 Upper Douda
Road, Malta, for driving under a suspended license and for
having fictitious registration, both misdemeanors. Taylor was
arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Mar 06 at 5:02 pm.
Billy Edward Moore, age 44, 1003 Main Street Apt. 3, Ravenna,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation and for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both
misdemeanors. Moore was picked up at the Portage County Jail
by Deputy Sheriff Willson and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 13 Mar 06 at 5:41 pm.
Buddy Walters Greene, age 22, 717 Greene Street Apt. D, Marietta,
a fugitive from justice. Greene was arrested on Greene Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
13 Mar 06 at 8:05 pm.
