On 12 Mar 06 Lila Kay McIntyre, age 33, 310
Caywood Road, Marietta, reported a yellow Pocket Bike belonging
to her daughter was stolen from outside her residence overnight.
This case remains under investigation (107).
On 12 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff McLeish was dispatched
to the scene of the death of an eighty-three year old Newport
resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural
causes; no foul play is suspected.
On 12 Mar 06 Marvin J. Arnold, age 42, 1650
Watertown Road, Watertown, reported his Dodge Ram 2500, Ohio
license number AE04ZJ, was stolen from beside his barn between
9 pm on 11 Mar and 9 am that morning. This case remains under
investigation (1090).
On 12 Mar 06 Christine M. Green, age 52, 585
Broad Street, Macksburg, reported sometime during the past
month an unknown suspect cut the lock off her unit at Devola
Mini Storage on State Route 60 and stole three televisions,
a microwave, two buffet tables, five fishing poles, a large
tackle box, a router table, masonry tools and a tile saw. This
case remains under investigation (200).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Francis Eugene Heiss, age 49, 14640 Muskingum River Road,
Lowell, for OVI, for failure to reinstate his operator’s
license and for having a faulty license plate light, all misdemeanors.
Heiss was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 06
at 1:38 am.
Shane Franklin Carpenter, age 34, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt.
5F, New Matamoras, for felony charges of domestic violence,
abduction and carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor charges
of possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting
arrest and for violating the terms of a protection order. Carpenter
was arrested at his residence by Chief Travaglio of the New
Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 12 Mar 06 at 4:04 am.
Matthew Fergus Finch, age 40, 957 Old St Marys Pike, Parkersburg,
for OVI, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for driving left of center, all misdemeanors. Finch was
arrested in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 06 at 5:02 am.
Marvin Scott Wolvert, age 43, 12230 Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for improper
passing, all misdemeanors. Wolvert was arrested on State Route
60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 12 Mar 06 at 6:59 pm.
