On 11 Mar 06 Amy Doughty, age 48, 53078 Belmont
Ridge, Belleville, reported a twelve foot aluminum boat she
had chained to another boat at her summer home on Whipkey Road
in Waterford, was stolen since she last saw it in October of
2005. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 11 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Misty D. Cunningham, age 35, 312 Salster Road,
Fleming, for traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Mankins
stopped Ms. Cunningham on State Route 550 near Warren Chapel
Road in Dunham Township.
On 11 Mar 06 Katherine Haselberger, age 61,
203 Maple Avenue, Woodsfield, reported a neighbor of her farm
on Dixon Ridge Road in Lowell, cut a combination of forty-four
red oak, chestnut oak, sugar maple and poplar trees from her
property without permission. This case remains under investigation
(1097).
On 11 Mar 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to signal when turning
into the parking lot of Spagna’s on Maple Street. Detecting
an odor of alcohol on the driver, Christopher J. Tolliver,
age 27, 409 Fort Street Apt. 10, Marietta, Deputy Mankins administered
field sobriety tests. Following Mr. Tolliver’s poor performance
on the tests, Deputy Mankins arrested him for OVI and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jared Lee Gillespie, age 32, 173 Railroad Avenue, Logan, OH,
for two counts of breach of recognizance, two counts of violating
the terms of his probation, menacing and for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors.
Gillespie was picked up at the county line by Deputy Sheriff
Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Mar 06 at 3:39 am.
Mandy Dawn Bunting, age 19, 1629 Park Avenue, Parkersburg,
for OVI and for failure to yield at a flashing signal light,
both misdemeanors. Bunting was arrested in Marietta by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Mar 06 at 4:09 am.
Christopher J. Tolliver, age 27, 409 Fort Street Apt. 10,
Marietta, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Tolliver was arrested near
Spagna’s by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 06 at 9:42 pm.
